Morrissey Give Your Head A Shake Ffs

Recommended Posts

I love The Smiths, been into the from the age of like 13/14 big part of the soundtrack to my life. Know all the words probably, and Johnny Marr still a hero :guitar:

But the rubbish the man Mozza spouts is like.... what the fcuk!

A loon for sure.

Watched a program once about dingos in a enclosure, and the researchers were looking to see what the dingos eat. They released some feral cats and they got eaten also they released to red foxes and they got eaten.

I don't think the Aussies will be to concerned about the feral cat cull.

Cats cause big enough problems over here killing native wildlife in genocidal numbers and that's mostly domestic cats, imagine the carnage caused by plague like numbers of ferals and wildlife that has no idea how to deal with a large mammalian predator.

true that :thumbs: , they hate the bloody things out, I told them on there site, that my young dog Buck killed good size feral cat , they said great breed from him :laugh: , and get some more controlling them lol

Makes me like your Buck even more! Cats are fecking horrible things the more ferals culled the better over here and down under :yes:

Big Smiths fan for many years, and I admire Mozza's eloquence, thoughtful use of language and ability to turn a memorable phrase, so I have to put my hand on my heart and say............

Was never a Smiths fan, and the fact Morrissey was such a freak was probably a big factor, but...

I saw the tribute band The Smyths last weekend at the Edinburgh festival. They were absolutely different class. Well worth seeing if you get the chance, and even if you didn't know all their stuff.

Have a listen to Rusholme Ruffians, Nowhere Fast, Cemetery Gates or I Want the One I Can't Have - fabulous lyrics ! Some of the more obscure tracks and B sides are, in my opinion, better than the more commercially successful material........they were a great band, no denying that !

Too many to choose from but got 59.00 for a great song, covered by Clayhill only a few years ago, sadly the singer decided it was time to check out recently. R.I.P. Gavin Clark, makes the original even deeper and the cover a difficult listen. Shane Meadows done a film on him. ;

At around the time the ban was introduced I remember reding an article (I think it was in CW) quoting facts and figures for wildlife deaths in the UK. I'm sure it said that cats (all cats; not just feral ones) kill more wildlife in the British Isles than hunts, lurchers, terriers, ferreting, snares, guns etc all put together. I don't suppose anyone has some kind of link do they? I think it said that keeping cats indoors for a few weeks per year during the songbird breeding season would dramatically increase the number of songbirds.
