tilimangro 1,013
I ended up with panic attacks after taking Valium Eventually learning to just breath and go with the panic attacks helped me deal with them

dytkos 17,952
In all seriousness, what is a panic attack? Is it when it comes on top for no reason? Ive had it when for instance your outnumbered by opposition football fans and your gonna get a hiding, or when the cops arrive when your digging etc but I cant see how downers would work if your already in a bad place? Cheers, D.

bwfc 164
Had one for about 16 hours now..feck me horrid c**ts.diazpan from doctors this morning done f all even tho I took a weeks worth from getting then at half ten this morning..f**k me I don't give a f**k what ya say there f***ing shire.. I have a pheocromacytoma, which is a tumour/growth on your adrenal gland. The adrenal gland are two glands that sit on top of your kidneys that are made up of two distinct parts. The adrenal cortex-the outer part of the gland produces hormones that are vital to life, such as cortisol(which helps regulate metabolism and helps your body to respond to stress) and aldosterone (which helps control blood pressure)' The adrenal medulla-the inner part of the gland produces non essential hormones such as adrenaline, which help your body react to stress. I can be okay one minute then literally less than a minute later i will be totally drenched with sweat fighting to catch my breath.I then start to throw up continually for between 10-12 hours, and shake as although i am covered in sweat i am freezing cold. The whole process takes me about 48 hours to get over, and i know how you feel its awful.I can have a couple of attacks in a week then go a few months without then out of the blue i will have another attack. It took many visits to the hospital and months of tests before it was diagnosed, and at first the staff thought i was having a heart attack on more than one occassion. Anti sickness injections dont make any difference,as once ive started the throwing up wont stop till theres nothing left, and that includes bile. Ive had it for 4 years now and was put under a specialist endocronologist, but he missed the first two appointments, then my bloods went missing 3 times. Now the enddocronologist has left over a year ago,and i have heard nothing.Apparently the growth is 4cm in size and hasnt grown any more and not cancerous,so they arent in a rush to do anything, despite it ruining my health.
