Remeber back in the 80's, me and my mate were fishing the South Mere at Thamesmead. There were a few dead roach drifted into our shoreline blown by the breeze. Then I noticed an old vietnamese bloke shuffling along the bank with a blue plastic colander attached to a stick. He was scooping the dead roach out, giving them a sniff and then putting them into a white carrier bag. Thing is, where most of the dead fish had congregated it f^cking stank and he took the lot.

Said to my mate, "whatever you do, don't get a chinky take-away tonight.
