gnasher16 31,898
i agree kahn is at a higher level than brook and of what ive seen of brook kahn whuld proberly beat him i dont no if he blanked the fight with brook before the pacman mayweather was anounced while he had a chance of getting in ther himself.. or after if it was after and he new for sure his nose was pushed out he shuld of took the brook fight ,,,,on another note been resherching walker smith this week started with the documentrys on his life very very intresting man with a super talent bit of a sad ending .. i will be watching his all his fights availlable will take me a quite abit of time watchin and re watching to make my decision on the pound for pound scenario but his record is amazing91 fight win streak cant belive i overlooked this man ... furthest ive gon back is duran hearns hagler my dad had the boxer magazine set with the old video cassets on the front when i was a kid i was obsessd with the wars between hearns hagler duran and lenord spent hours watching them fights ... what sugar ray fights do you recomend gnasher as thers alot of them lol When we was kids the ol man would say to us " there will never be another Ray Robinson ".....we didnt like to admit it at the time as we all like to think the great fighters come from our generation like you say the Hagler/Hearns/Leonard/Duran series.....but Robinson was far and away the greatest fighter who ever lived.......its just a shame a lot of his early fights theres no video footage of......the first fight with Lamotta, the Valentines Day Massacre, the Fullmer fight when Robinson was past his best......the Carmen Basilio fight was brutal.......theres just too many to list...........201 fights and never took a 10 count !
MIK 4,763
if Gayweather was a dog you could earn some money with him but you wouldnt want to breed from him... Why?????????? you could dig to him everyday of the week You and the likers didnt understand the joke. It wasnt a reference to digging dogs. Anyway you can have another 3 days to think about it. Im not a liker ....if you read an earlier post of mine I wasnt excited about this fight as with any other Mayweather fight ....you remind me of Jim Watt a bit
jeemes 5,816
I think we are on crossed wires mate. My origional joke was refering to the old pit dogs. When I said likers I meant the people who were liking your post. Thanks for the Jim Watt compliment...I like Jim.
jeemes 5,816
I guess your version of hurt and wobbled must be different to mine......i saw 1 punch push Mayweather against the ropes and about 15/20 punches hit his gloves/arms......you obviously saw different. Ive got an appointment at specsavers this week.

pesky1972 6,003
The world’s truly gone mad. How can a purse of $380m be raised for a fight between two old men? Obviously they were greats in their day, but they’ll be nowhere near that level now. I certainly wouldn’t pay to watch that.

You really would think these two would have a little bit more respect for the sport that made them both multi millionaires....once again, boxing isnt protecting itself from these pantomime fights and it will end up killing the sport.
