This may seem like a strange question but have you noticed if your whippets seem to have very cold ears all the time,  mine has but I think they act like built in intercooler radiators that’s why he never pants, but he could be a freak

Yes ive noticed that Mine goes outside for 10 minutes her ears are freezing she will feel the cold.  Once on a walk rain and the snow we had dont bother her, I've noticed her ears and skin look more purple when she's out in the cold. She hates her coat so I don't bother also she hated puddles lol but I drag her through now she getting used to it..

Il start.. 2 year old. Bred from worker to worker, mostly ferreting, lamping mooching dogs, 21" pics have been put up before.

My whippets. Dam and son

Hopefully these few old pictures and some of recollections from my early teens (the late 1950’s and early 1960’s) may be of some interest. They’re all old style “rag whippets” and pre date the require

My pups ear are stone cold even when it’s been in the house for hours with the central heating on, I don’t bother with putting a coat on it when out, try and harden it up a bit while it’s young, can be very nesh them whippets

Really tempted mate as the springer blood in them even though it's diluted is from my old springers i had years ago. It's the lack of rabbits local were i have a mooch every morning that makes me think a small type lurcher would be wasted.

if your still out mooching about having a walk and the dogs got a good home then why not . Be dogs out there in a lot worse situations and sure dog will just adapt to its surroundings . sure you could get yourslef a few invites during the season
