Dogs In The Car

With terriers boxes are a must when travelling, guess if youve got an edgy lurcher itd be well worth getting a box. To be honest you cant beat a van or a pickup.

I would love a van or pick up. I think they can attract unwanted attention though. Even just driving to and from permission. Estate cars seem to glide under the radar that bit more.

NL I haven't heard that, do you reckon a dog guard would be enough if/when law changes?

Had a van for a year never got pulled once bought a focus eatate, had it a week now it's got a marker on it for poaching van was so much better for the dogs but day to day life the estate us miles better

There will always be exceptions. I was talking in general.

However I do think estate cars are being looked at more now with more "dog lads" owning them.

I've drove a fairly new, tidy, silver estate of some description for 7 years now and touch wood I haven't once been pulled up. Might be luck. But I ain't gonna change things. Lol.

I pull the parcel shelf over aswell so no dogs can be seen last year I seen a lad in fb had his car smashed up and put on its roof while he had it parked up and was out for a wander with his dogs, luckly for him he was on public foot oath and not poaching so it got took to court and farmer had to pay for the car all the court fees aswell as a couple fines
