Getting disciplinary at work, guess why? Running late because I was out with the dogs. My aim is to go camper-vaning with the dogs and get seasonal work. that will be my dream and if I can make ends meet I will be the happiest guy on earth.

 

See ,,,you have stepped on the hunting DVD bandwagon to late,,,I don't think there's much of a market for it anymore,,,not to mention all them wankers that copy DVD ,,and sell them at shows..........

 

I think to make any money out of that ,,,it needs to be like a music download,,,but there so cheap ,,,you might only get a £ pound or two a film,,,

Money has never been my god so was never my reason to get involved with running dogs.Though profit made from lurcher caught game used to come in handy especialy when i was on strike for a year.

My old man always said if you're making money off the dogs you're doing it wrong anything I make off the dogs gets put straight back into them on food, new kennels etc etc.

 

Gambling on dogs I see as different to making money off peddling litters etc, if someone wants to have a flutter to prove their faith in their dog then more power to them.

had running dogs all my life 60 yr old now and ide love somebody to show me how they make money in the dog game , back in the early days of lamping did make some tidy money from it out all the time and taking big numbers and selling all i could get 3 dogs and all knackered at end of season . lasy 16 yr or so coursing been the game but at 70 to 100 pounds every time you go its a dear and rich mans sport with the price of fuel and other things plus ive always been of the agenda that if your going to keep a dog or dogs give it the best of everything from food to kenneling as i say not a lot of money to be madevfrom dogs imo.

Just footage of terriers ratting and lurchers rabbiting. Mainly my Gwp cross. Nothing special and nothing worth selling.

Just hope my grandsons dont get into it thats why most of my old photos and newspaper clippings and books will be put on a large fire if any of them show an intrest in the near future.

You see lads that have a litter of pups or two every year,selling pups at 200-300 or more a shot,there making money arnt they?

They talk about the great expense of rearing pups to 8 weeks,If you already have a couple of dogs the foods already there.

Only ever bred once and the litter was kept small,they were not for sale,didnt seem expensive but then i wasn't counting.
