Didn't have to think about it long. But never shook a darkies hand.

Never been close enough to one, so far avoided that one lol

went out with a black girl years ago, nice firm body and nice tits lol, apart from there (hair )there the same as a white woman  , but it was in the dark though when we were shagging lol

I think its simply behaving in an appropriate manner for whatever situation you're in basically ... just knowing how to conduct yourself really IMO it has nothing to do with wealth or status ... you c

I couldnt give a shit if its old fashioned and untrendy or not i,ll always have manners and be respectful around any woman theres nothing worse than people who lack class regardless of their standing

It's wasted on today's society. Always polite and curteous to older folk.   But I wouldn't go out my way for the rest, maj are pig ignorant foul mouthed and like I said manners would be wasted on

That's a bugger, isn't it, Gnash? I had to shake hands with one, just the other week. Not natural, is it?

I just tend to go for the instinctive, short, firm, 'Half Squeeze'. Enough of a full and firm grasp of their hand to let them know you're 'shaking hands'. Not just resting ye limp fingers on their hand.

But, I back off at about half the natural pressure I exert ~ and I never try to crush anyones hand anyway. (I've been gripped by some right f**king tree stranglers. Actually been put out of operation for a day or two by one c***! Lovely bloke. Just too fond of the gym and genuinely didn't recognise the power he'd developed)

Yeah, with females, I just like to show I mean what I'm doing ~ show a bit of respect for the gesture. But, just enough to, equally, show them I'm respecting Them, by not going all f**king caveman on them and trying to 'dominate' them, physically

 I love the way this geezer puts things sometimes ....." instinctive short firm half squeeze "....." i back off at about half the normal pressure i exert "....." tree stranglers "..... :D love it !

Its definately a tough call im a big ugly f****r so it either go,s one of two ways.....the woman either thinks to herself " he,s a big c**t i better put a lot into this " or she sthinks " he,s a big c**t im not even going to try ".....so going with your tactic Pete, depending which she chooses i either get crushed like a girl or i leave the poor lass with a few fractured metacarpels.................also if you avoid it altogether and go straight for the polite kiss on the cheek instead you risk getting a clump round the chops !...............certainly a tricky one.

Funny old bussiness, who would have thought a simple human social interaction like shaking hands could hold such meaning.

Yes but thats whats great about it.......you can get so much said to someone without even opening your mouth...especially if you are in company...

The classic example has to be the first time meeting with the daughters new boyfriend........that handshake where you just hold on that extra second while giving him the half grin and a wink.....both of you know whats being said but the daughters none the wiser ....................as you can probably tell i go a lot on body language :D

The handshake is always a tough one for me to assert any authority has I'm always looking up for eye contact..................and I've got little hands. :D

Think outside the box, JB........ try firmly grasping the balls and shaking them, that'll put you in full authority of any situation! LOL.

.....just be gentlemanly about it.

What a fantastic greeting the handshake is and it must be done right, for everyone. So much meaning from a handshake, power or weakness, how do you measure up...?

Politicians and world leaders practice the humble handshake to death, as they must never let another exert dominance over them, especially in front of the media, never seen 'em sort of fence a little before taking grasp.... and so it filters down through us...

Done originally for folk to see you were/are unarmed and come in peace for close talking.... You offered your sword hand...

I love the meanings of such things...

Heard one today on the radio, why we use the phrase "I turned to him and said", or "so I turned round and said..", because during the plague, folk, for fear of passing on infection, spoke back to back, only if the conversation was serious enough did they turn, hence the importance of use, of the phrase...

Love that...!

Think it comes down to common sense n morals. My mum can't help but swear, can't blame her with the stuff me n my brother have got upto lol. I don't watch how I talk but I have enough common sense to know when to and when not to. As for stuff like holding the door open for people, it's just a reaction for me don't even have to think about it. Treatment towards women being a bloke I don't even argue with women. It'll only get to the point where the argument gets more and more spiteful and I know I can give em a slap so what's the point. Wouldn't walk past a bloke proper giving it to a woman either. As for treatment of the elderly I'm far from shy and try to voice my morals onto others lol. If I'm in a shop queing and notice someone old in the line I let em go infront of me. Anyone who was infront of them can accept it or be made to feel like a twat. Suppose one way I see of it spreading is the saying your as good as the company you keep. All my mates are the same and wouldn't bite their tongue if they saw something they didnt agree with. Even the ones who couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag lol.
