Me an a mate were once out lamping a few years ago it was about 2am just shon the lamp across the field and we saw this guy in full camos. Thinking he was a poacher on my ground we approached him turns out this guy had gone mental and thought he was in a war zone and he tried to attack us luckily he wasn't armed so we managed to get hold of him and Hogg tie him and carry him to the road and rang the old bill it was a rather eventful night haha.

Had one night lamping at the end of last season I should called it quits and gone home hours before.

I was out with Ren my wife's whippet as it was all I had running at the time, started off catching the first bunny all good 2nd run a young roe buck joined in the chase over took the little fella he didn't know what the hell was going on, as a stood there watching this weird sight I felt a presents next to me there was another young buck standing next to me I very nearly jumped out of my skin..

On to the next field and another run this bunny ran up a stone water trough and swam across getting out the other side and making it to safety. After a long walk missing many others and another run though this one was in the bag when the bunny ran straight up the arse of a badger and the dog clouted straight in to still missing a very dissy rabbit, think we managed 2 more in the bag then spotted 2 sets of eyes far out so slipped to dog to find they were partridge both took off one doing a full circle and clouting me in the side of the head, decided to head for home and saw one lone bunny which the dog ran quiet well I chase after to keep it in the beam but managed to fall both feet down a large badger earth so missed the rabbit and a long walk home with 3 rabbits.

Your never guess what happened next... I cut through a hedge onto the next field and a cock bird fell out the tree and landed straight in my game bag ( oven ready aswell ) lol

One that springs to mind was lamping a rabbit run by a fox!

i was about to slip a young bitch i had when a fox shot out the hedge and took the rabbit within a couple strides looked back at me then disappeared back into the hedge got to admire them

not a strange site as such but dog picked a rabbit up on the lamp retrieved live to hand back on the slip, walked a few yards dropped the rabbit on the floor while i stepped through a hole in the hedge and started squeaking, within a few minutes a fox came into view but it sat long way out, gave up after a while it wasn't coming in stepped back through the hole in hedge in time to see another fox making off with my rabbit, didn't have the heart to run him after that sure they was working in tandem with each other
