im a kept man..............well a stay at home daddy but m lady don't moan about me going out......to be fair she glad see the back of me...........had a ex who was a moaning fecker i wasn't aloud do nothing 2nd best day of my life when she up and left.

Very true this. The amount of lads I know who can't get out because of the missus. Or need be back a certain time. Or can't go until such and such a time. Or can't go in the house with wellies on, or

she wasn't worth mowing down. was happy enough that she left even tho she took everything...........except are son.(she wouldn't of taken him even if she wanted to :gunsmilie: )

finished work early 50 hurt my back, but up to then was always in full time heavy brewery work, even tried to work with it drugged up on pain killers for 18 months, but pain to much the back won. So go out with the dogs much as i can, as long as( iam fit enough) i will try to keep going, but of late getting few arthritis probs, so i have been thinking of packing up the last few months and get out of hunting for good, been in the game near 30 years, so had good run :yes:

thats it spot on, my fingers keep swelling up, and hard to use them, dont think anything can be done only more feckin drugs.And not going down that road had enough of taking them for my back for 20 odd years. no not looking good, !

yeh you right, as said had 30 years at it fecking about with lurchers, (not) saying its young mans game , but as you get older you body will change and there feck all you can do about it fact, even if your heart+brain up for it, your body will have the last say, i will try to keep going, as long as i can, as ive got a young dog , but i think long term its not looking good from now on. :yes:

Just wondering cos so many of you seem to be out all the time! I on the other hand struggle to find any time! I'm not having a dig I'm just jealous!

I'm the same bud so hard to find time with my pup im moving down your neck of the woods wat is it like down there bud
if you're after long ears forget it there's nothing round my way! But everything else there's shiteloads! Fill your boots mate loads of game and very few coppers! Where you moving to mate?

as you get older and the kids are independant "ish" then priorities change, i no longer chase money. as quality of life has become far more important than trying to keep up with the jones`s, as long as the basics are covered then feck the rest, your only here once so enjoy it while you can, as the saying goes "You're a long time dead"

That's how I c it paulus I'm self employed carpenter 4 kids 4 dogs pigs chickens ferrets since the baby's were born I decided to

Work part time Friday ;) as long as we got enough for a a good quality of life that's good enough for us

My misses is spot on

Oh yeh I live in a council house snd I don't give a f**k for a mortgage ;)
