We lost chickens to monitors and pythons, I have a scar on my knuckle from a tokay gecko, it used to eat small house gecko when they sat around a flouro strip getting insects, I grabbed the tokay and it grabbed me, wouldn't let go and it gnawed away ?

I wouldn't want a big Asian water monitor grabbing me that's for sure,when they upset its time to move ,I see a fella get chased by one when he getting it out a transport box and took 3 big lads to stop it .

Yeah them tokays are grumpy things quick as lightning aswell I had 1 used to bark at you

There's some footage online somewhere, a bull Terrier pulling a big monitor out of what looks like a kitchen in Thailand, the monitor looks around 4 foot, the dog is into it, proper fight.

I went to komodo years ago, there's a woman on flores with bite marks on her thigh where one tried to pull her from the house, we bought a live goat for the dragons, it's all changed now I heard. A Swiss tourist? Was eaten.

They nice looking lizard and you get a lot of diffrent coloured ones now but they got a attitude and love to bite and jaws like a vice ,they make a nice sound when they calling .

I bet loads of people been eaten over the years ,they smell food from miles away ,I like how they bite big prey and just follow behind until it drops .

Love to go see them .
