Thats the big lad 6 years old today ....a bit grey around the chops ...but hes got some amount of miles on the clock ....a good honest hound that just lives to graft ...had one of his best season last and pulled of some impressive slips ...hopefully a few more seasons left in him ...and he can show the pup comeing on behind him how its done if I have 1 /2 the fun with her as ive had with him I will be a happy man

the good old ones always have that look my old lad is starting his 9th season and still doing the job, (a bit slower than he use to be,mind) my youngest dog is 5 this december

Aye my old bitch is 8 on the 25th of this month, still doing ok, not as sharp on the turns as she used to but she has enough experience to use other things to her advantage, keep thinking about semi retiring her but she wont let me!! Hope you have a few more good seasons with the old lad.

He still looks well mate but as you know old age catches them up quick, just as you have them made they are finished. Hope this little one of mine follows it the family business.
