Australian Cattle dog lurchers

And the best feet you will ever see on any dog anywhere,i did have one for a bit(she was pts after a horendus leg break)and she was turning into the best dog i've ever had.She was only 10-11 months old when i lost her but she was well getting the ferreting game sussed, she'd retrieved big rabbits and hoofed game(shot first of course) and i she'd have died for me protection wise,if i was ever out with her and she saw someone before me she'd sit on my feet and give a little growll and this trait her litter brother also has. These dogs are not overly agressive but they take no stick from nothing(very strong jaw power for a dog there size),one thing i will say that is probebly the most important and that is they get bored and will find ways of occupying themselves and this can cause you a bit of stress at times  ,there also not the fastest of lurchers first x wise(i was lucky with mine)but they give there all and likes been said one on one they are so loyal you have to see it at times to believe it.

God i miss my dog :cray: .

i seen a pic of your light coloured bitch on here is there any recent ones of the littermate

cant see what they would add in the make up of a good lurcher short legs short tail barrel chest prob have a good brain in that strong head......far better colie breeds in this country

toughness, loyalty,a one person dog with out the fawning ,and whimpering if you look at it the wrong way you can get with certain collie blooded dogs.

prob true....i did like the look of the red merle bitch cleo on the lurcher mania dvd

cleo was hancock bitch
