They mentioned the large reduction in hare numbers BUT what they didn"t say was that this has happened since coursing was made illegal and that now they are being shot in hundreds rather than preserve

if you get cought hes the coper you want catching you,,, two groups of lads cought on camera with dead hares ,,,,,, and he lets them go

Notts police constable charged with drink-driving

A NOTTS police constable has been suspended from duty after being charged with drink-driving.

 

The officer, who is based in Broxtowe, was stopped in his car in Derbyshire at 3am on Saturday.

After being given a roadside breath test he was taken to a police station in Derbyshire where he was charged with drink-driving.

 

Notts Police say the officer was not on duty at the time but has now been suspended from duty with immediate effect.

 

He will appear in court on a date to be fixed.

Policeman charged with child sex offences

A POLICEMAN has been charged with child sex offences.

 

Geraint Lloyd Evans will appear at Swansea Crown Court on Friday, March 11.

 

He has been charged with three counts of making indecent images of children; possessing four images of child abuse; conspiring to incite sexual activity with a child under 13 and possessing extreme pornography. The 47-year-old officer, of Manor Drive, Coychurch, Bridgend, was remanded after appearing at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

 

An IPCC spokesman said: “The Independent Police Complaints Commission is managing an investigation into allegations that 47-year-old Inspector Evans was in possession of indecent images of children. A separate criminal investigation has led to the arrest of four members of the public.

 

 

“Three have been charged and are being held on remand.”

A 49-year-old from Cardiff, a 49-year-old from Neath and a 54-year-old from Ross-on-Wye also appeared before Llanelli magistrates on Wednesday. A 49-year-old from Ystrad Mynach was there yesterday. They will all appear at Swansea Crown Court on March 11 charged with offences related to indecent images of children and conspiracy to incite or engage in sexual activity with a child under 13.

A MET Police officer based at Eltham has been charged with a series of sex offences on young girls.

 

Sean Smith, aged 29, of Critchley Avenue, Dartford, is charged with 15 counts of indecent assault on three girls in Tameside, Greater Manchester, between 1996 and 2001.

 

Smith was put on restricted duties at Eltham police station following his arrest in September last year.

 

He is due to appear at Tameside Magistrates' Court on January 20.

Retired New Forest police officer charged with historic child sex offences

A RETIRED police officer has been charged with historic child sex offences.

Gordon Hunter, 63, was arrested at his home address in Ashurst in the New Forest on Tuesday in connection with allegations of gross indecency and attempted rape of a male under the age of 16.

He was charged with seven counts of indecent assault and one count of attempted buggery.

The charges relate to incidents alleged to have taken place in the New Forest and Whitchurch areas of Hampshire between 1987 and 2004 and against three different victims.

Hunter appeared before Basingstoke magistrates today, Thursday October 22, and was bailed to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Friday November 6.

The investigation has been led by officers from Hampshire Constabulary’s professional standards department.

Mr Hunter retired from his role as a police constable in 2002, and served in a variety of support staff roles.

He retired from a support staff role at Lyndhurst at the beginning of October this year.

Officer charged with sex offences

 

Glen Boulton has been suspended

A serving police officer has been charged with six alleged sex offences involving two girls, the West Midlands force said.

 

Det Insp Glen Boulton, 44, from Solihull, has been suspended.

 

The alleged offences, four counts of indecent assault and two of indecency with a child, date back to between 1977 and 1982.

 

The force said criminal proceedings were now live and would not comment further.

 

It is understood DI Boulton will appear before magistrates in Wolverhampton next month.

PC Sean Smith today appeare at Tameside Magistrates Court accused of committing sex offences against young children

 

The 29 year old policeman, who is now with the Metropolitan Police, denied the charges when he last appeared in court.

Smith, of Critchley Avenue in Dartford, Kent, has been on restricted duties at Eltham police station in south London since being charged.

 

He spoke only to confirm his name and address before hearing his bail decision.

He stands accused of 15 counts of indecent assault on three girls who were all under fourteen years old at the time.

The alleged incidents took place between 1996 and 2001.

The case will now move to Minshull Street Crown Court.

 

He was granted bail subject to his having no contact with young children, but intends to lodge a request to amend this as he has a young daughter of his own.
