Someone asked me to skim a wall recently , patching in really . Ideally I'd redo the whole wall , flatten it off and then reskim the lot. Would be a perfect wall then. In the txt the guy asked me to come price plastering a wall "it's only small , probably hour or twos work" . Knew from that it would be a pain. Guy umed and arrd about having to redo it all so it's nice and decided he wouldn't pay for that so just patch it in . It looked shit in the end where they meet , he moaned about the time it would take , the price etc. Not refusing or calling me out but just little miserable comments .

I think everybody agrees canned hunting like releasing a lion and having dogs kill it is pointless / stupid and reckless . Doupt you'll find any on here that agree with it . You say your helping the environment by killing feral dogs and pests which is true . But in Africa the pests are the poachers and it not possible to cull them like feral dogs or other pests sadly. So to protect the animals as weird as it is they need a value on them for people to bother protecting them . The prices I see on these animals to shoot them is bonkers if you ask me . Its a interesting debate so hopefully it won't be derailed You seen to dislike the "ego trip" angle of hunting. But that's part and parcel of life and hunting . If you catch a monster fish in the river , takes you hour to land it . You can't wait to get to your mates or down the pub to tell people . That's a ego boost. Hunting in itself in all ways could be considered a ego boost , it's you outwitting a wild animal on their ground. What's you opinion on the money revenue made from these animals that support their own exsistence. Poaching is a major problem they have. But if I lion or elephants life is worth thousands - hundreds of thousands of pounds to the people who run these hunting trips then surely they try to keep the animals around ? If big game hunting was stopped in its entirety tmrow. I reckon there would be nothing left at all before long . Who will put their life on the line to protect a animal from poachers when theirs no money to fund it . Poaching would decimate everything then . Its a hard thing to

Decent discussion to be had . Personally I haven't heard anybody ever say "but we're a big club" . Im a welsh man utd fan . I make no excuses for supporting utd . When I got into football at 10/11 utd were the force and cantona/kamchelskis/schmeichel were the players for me . If I had any links to Swansea family wise I'd have supported them most probably. But watching match of the day utd were the team I liked and followed. I know many disagree but I have no shame in it , I was a young boy and Swansea weren't anywhere to be watched on TV and no way could I afford to go see Swansea , it was p
