You spend your life with someone , all the stresses that come with it , kids , jobs etc . Kids move out and have family of their own and its back to just you and other half . When they go its just you left , the kids give you time and love but they got families and lifes of their own. Your on your own and it can be a lonely exsistence . My grandad wasnt a pub person or really social apart from the acquaintances him and my gran made so their was nothing for him to drop back to . I do know one thing tho its not all about being forgotten about and literally on your own . My dad built a extension

My grandad tried killing himself by electrocuting himself on the house electrics after my gran died . It didn't work luckily and he got sent to some place i think for people with mental problems . He was out in a week or back home thankfully . Its hard at that stage of life for some

We have been back 2 weeks . Were told welfare is out of bounds , if we have to go close to each other or into clients house we have to call boss and told to take water to wash our hands before and after every break . Took 3 days before the boss himself was standing 1ft away from people and going into clients houses etc

Never mentioned it before but in my late teens and early 20's i used to ocassionally wonder whether i was dead already from a car crash and this was sort of my last fleeting thoughts before lights out that could happen at any point . I didnt walk around thinking about it but every once and a while in quiet moments on my own it would cross my mind . Probably something to do with the pot i was smoking but id revist it quite often . Then mrs and kids came along and it sort of turned into a distant memory. f**k knows what it was all about

I could never understand how they got him in . But in the same vein as pochettino if you have a owner (ashley/levy) who wont open the purse strings you will find it very hard to push forward a great deal . Especially when the top clubs can and will spend 50m on a player who might not make it . Im a utd fan and at one point i thought fred was shot . As it is hes come decent but that was 50m on a player taking a chance. Poccettino at spurs could really have done with a few real goid signings to push team forward and see what they can do . Will be good to see newcastle doing well so long as its managed right. Its all well and good saying keep Bruce and it would be a nice sentiment but you need a manager to entice the top players in and i dont see bruce being able to do that
