Payed my own for 23 yrs,and also the mother in-laws off,after the wife's Oldman ran off with his fancy lady Been a struggle at times,went without,but it's all ended well in the end...frees us up,to kick back abit now ,and enjoy life mate

I plan to sit and pass my level 2 pest control,I payed for the coursework more than 10 yrs ago,but life and a young family sent me in a different direction mate....the Mrs has plenty she wants done around the house lol...so between that , there will be plenty of family/chill time,got a few commitments that I can do in my own time,no rush or stress....I would like to run a fishery few days a week or maybe do some guiding etc ,but on a wage,don't need big money or want the worry of overheads...if the price is right,then I could be tempted to jump back on the tools.....cash in the hand only...

My Mrs has ordered me to take the next 6 months off ...sort my head out lol,gonna retrain and get into something I enjoy doing for the first time in my 45 years on this planet... everything we have is payed off,we can live comfortably enough on the wife's wage and what's put away...I will do the odd few days,here and there to keep myself topped up with toys and fishing gear...I'm done chasing money,and working alongside deadwood ...who the f**k wants to be the richest person in the graveyard??? Not me,I'm going to live what's left of my life and enjoy it chaps....not felt this good in years..

What rod you using? The super lite lures ,work best with a little baitcaster type reel from personal experience,or you want a 1000/2000 size fixed reel with say 6/8 lb braid.5g-30 g rod..... little trick is to use backing underneath and attach the braid,you want about 50/60 yards,not put on too tight so it imbeds into itself and causes you bird nests

If there's no pike about,then I would use the fluro for trout,perch,chub-the wire you can buy today too make your own traces/leaders is supper supple and behaves the same as the fluro15 lb braid should be ok,maybe get some in 8/10 lb for the super lite lures,it's a great way to fish your always moving and busy,cover lots of ground, highly addictive
