that's an IDE I'd say? not often you see barbel of that size...I once liberated 30 from a freshly dug snake lake on a commercial fishery by me and put them into the Rhumney river....don't sit well with me having them in Stillwater's??

payed £40 10 yrs back for my last one..I'd be happy to pay whatever tbf,I can appreciate the time and effort used to produce them? place I get my raw used to bred/sell them but stopped a few months ago, apparently new laws have been brought in regarding selling native birds from a pet shop? so he stopped....shame i missed out on the birds but I did buy 4 tortoises for £200,kept one and sold the others for £150 each to my neighbor and the kids school?? -
thinking like that...there's a few of my old ones I'd love to meet again??

Found the same thing myself...I used to work as a greenkeeper in my early 20's...I would walk the course with my air rifle in the golf bag with my clubs...only way I could get close enough to shoot the corvids and rabbits ??

another first for me ..been doing a job, building retaining walls,steps,fencing for a customer few weeks back,garden backed on to a stream and horse stables,I set a few live catch traps,ended up with 23 rats out of the garden,came in one morning,rat in the trap,I out the trap in a builders bucket,put my coat over it until the end of the day....when I got home and picked up the trap...there's was 12 little pinkie rat pups in the cage...rat had given birth and not eaten them....the rat pups went to the kids cornsnakes and mother was rehomed with my terrier pups ... -

sat on an earth once waiting for the dog to settle,could see 2 wood pidgeons in a tree doing the old courtship dance...out of no where came a little sparrowhawk Spar and grabbed one of them,the other bird was attacking it trying to get it to let go..the hawk dragged it into a little stream and held it under the water to kill it... thought f**k you won't see that everyday ?
