  1. cheers mate flats side of an island called musha cay owned by opreh winfrey you know its got to be fished lol be rude not to Of all the fishing I've seen or read about its fishing for bonefish on the fly that really appeals to me, everybody who fishs for them always says about the speed of them. You've lived tge dream fair play. had bonefishfever a good few years now , once you hook a good sized bone on a flat its game over its that addictive , then once you've lost a reel biggie then you step up your tackle , any bone on a flat is a reel ball think I read that a burst speed of a carp /p

  5. cheers mate, big chance to try a few shots florida guides are renowned for being top notch bit pricey but they have all the kit and bait for whatever floats your boat but book early and book the best you can for a trip on the water , are you going up and down the keys or staying put in one spot ? migrating tarpon land in the keys around jan feb along with bones permit and cuda ,pick the right guide for your fishing and best of luck
  6. brilliant , have it on your toes I,d do the same
  7. wading the flats is an amazing way of fishing more like hunting esp when alone , looking for a glint , tail , or fin , scanning the bottom for fresh poc holes where bones have been feeding on crab , watching the fish hawks for a sign of fish , and when you find the bones the cudas and sharks are always close by then a group of bones maybe 3 or a dozen are coming you way in squadron formation working against the flow of water tipping up now and again driving into the sand on crabs, you get the bone fish jitters and the fish are coming down your throat as you try in vain to make a good cast

Its rare I blank,In fact I cant remember the last time I blanked there. The barbel are good sizes and average over 7lb, so that's why I fish it. I also had a common carp from there a while ago that fought like a tiger! if your catching regular then that's good fishing 7lb is a great wieht for an average fish , is it a pretty river the wharf havnt been there
