  1. Evenin folks! I've been trying for some time to track down a supplier of good quality purse net making materials. I'm after a good quality hemp twine some spun nylon twine and braided nylon for the draw cords. Does anyone have any recommendations?
  2. A few years back prier to the restrictions of the supposed vote winning hunting ban :wankerzo4: , my lurchers ran and killed a hare that showed all the sings of myxi. The poor animal had no back on it at all and it's eyes were swollen and full of puss. I handed the poor thing in to the local vets school but despite repeated phone calls I never received a reply as to what the hare had suffered from.
  3. Same old same old, blar blar blar For all the negatives you'll hear about David and Sally's dogs you will hear just as many positives so don't be so quick to dismiss the possibility of owning one Spartan. Fact is a vast majority of people no longer mention that they own a Hancock bred lurcher or a Plumber terrier/lurcher for fear of being shot at by people who really aught to know better. SJM I respect your opinion, although I do not know you, you do speak a lot of sense and obviously know your dogs. I really have no intention of upsetting you or getting in to an argument with you but, how
  4. How about Boagreaus, pronounced BO AG Reaus. He was a renowned worrier in Greek history. You could call him Bo for short.

    Television

It's not enough though is it. The discovery channels show hours and hours of fishing programs yet country sports are limited to a few minutes in the odd cookery show. Why won't the discovery channel and the like show programs featuring country sports and I don't mean just shooting. Do joe public really believe that because it isn't on TV it doesn't happen. Maybe just maybe, if the public had been better informed on country sports through the medium of tv they wouldn't have been so ignorant and a ban on hunting would never have come about. F uckers!
  8. I may well be in touch with my feminine side but' I'm certainly not a woman. What ever gave you that impression?
  9. In all honesty, if the world were about to end I'd av two thai birds lined up covered in cocaine ready to go while Nigela lawson spoon fed me her latest culinary delight naked as the day she was born, that is if she wasn't busy or anythin'.
  10. 1. Well obviously first thing would be scrapping the hunting ban and then imposing tough sentencing for anti hunt protesters that trespass on to private property. 2. Close our borders immediately, only letting in those that genuinely have something to offer. 3. Deport all foreign prisoners back to there country of origin, deportation treaty or not. Freeing up thousands of sells for our home grown scum bags. 4. National service is an absolute must to bring back discipline and respect in today's ignorant youth. National service troops would not see front line service but would do other vital
  11. Personally I can't decide between Chicken tikka dansak, kleftico lamb, Sunday roast(lamb) british lamb of coarse, Sea bass with steam sandfire or a big boll of mixed shell fish cockles, winkles, whelks, muscles and prawns. Feck I'm drawning' in me own saliva now.
  12. OK peeps the worlds about to end. So after you've done all the things you need to do, unplug the TV, put the cat out, that sort of thing, you sit down to your last meal. What I want to know is, what would it be?
  13. Hi all. I looking to hook up with a regular sporting buddy. Someone who's into Ferreting, moochin' and lamping with lurchers. I have over twenty years experience with ferrets and lurchers and quite a bit of permission to have a go at. Although I have one or two people that accompany me while out ferreting and such I have no regular partner. I do end up doing a lot of work on my own, just me and the dogs which is fine and often great fun but, it's nice to have someone with enthusiasm to bounce off. I'm not worried if your a seasoned professional or a beginner all I ask is that your a genuin
  14. How do fella, welcome to the site, hope you enjoy it.
  15. Learn to make your own nets. It's cheaper than buying them. Once your proficient at it you can turn them out fairly quickly. I make all my own HEMP nets and I have some in my bag that are almost fifteen years old and still going strong. There's a certain satisfaction in making your own and seeing them work. I've found nylons to be virtual useless under blackthorn hedges, they'll snag on anything. Spun nylon are OK but they really don't work that well when they're wet as they do seem to soak up a hell of a lot of water. I suppose it depends on where your ferreting and whether your a lazy fec
  16. It's got to be sunday roast cooking. I love the smell of horses and woodland after it's rained when I'm out. I fecking hate the smell of diesel, tar mack and bull shite. I think you know what I'm on about
  17. Sorry Tomo are you calling Millie a twat or is that what you like the smell of?
  18. As this will be your first lurcher I strongly recommend that you go for a type of dog that is relatively easy to train. From my expirience Bedlington/ whippets are not ideal for your first running dog. Now don't get me wrong I'm sure there are a hell of a lot of first rate Beddy whippet crosses out there doin the biz week in week out but, I'm fairly confident they belong to experienced owners. The Bedlington/Whippet can be a very head strong individual, couple that with a nose that is equal to a beagle and you have a dog that if not trained to a good standard will leave you very frustrated.
  19. We have the full package, tv, phone and wireless internet. Apart from a few teething problems is been OK. The Internet connection can be a little slow at time but, then so can I. Hope this helps.
  20. Feck me fella! either your a midget or thats a monster of a toby.
