  1. Plenty of rugby league boys love a night chasing pigs, he should have no problems there
  2. Yeah I'm heading up to the snowy mountains tomorrow for a 6 day pig hunt. That bitch was bred for and originally used for pigs. She went alright Good luck post me some pictures my son on about coming over for a year to play rugby league and work over next year Will do, any idea on where he's thinking of playing? I've got some contacts in some of the feeder teams for the NRL No worries, let me know where he's thinking of playing when you know I might be able to get him into one of the better clubs

  4. where was this? not Britain. Are you trying to be smug? Australia. Not really, just making a comment on the difference. I'm not taking him out though bugger that. We've been getting hit pretty hard by the antis, especially the fellas hunting pigs with their dogs. Won't be long and we may be dealing with the same. I can't imagine the crap you blokes have to put up with
  5. I feel sorry for you blokes with the ban, I ran into a copper today whilst walking the dogs and got talking and he ended up asking me to take him out for a hunt with the dogs haha

  7. Nice animal , when I was oz I noticed that the foxes were very small in size maybe lack of fur that made them look small ,but still good going Cheers. Yeah they weren't massive, couple of the dog foxes were pretty decent though. The property had only been hunted twice in three years so they had a bit of time to get nice and fat. The pelts in the warmer areas are pretty poor but the ones in victoria get some nice pelts. Whereabouts did you go?
  8. The bitch on the right takes foxes one out and if she loses sight she turns to her nose and scents them until she spots them again. Took 8 daytime foxes in three days on the edge of pine forests with her, probably her best effort. Taken more on the lamp though.Never got a decent pelt from them, she'd chew em up too much
  9. Nice work mate, hope she goes well. Good on ya for taking her on
  10. I've seen a lot of deerhound x's with that, a remnant of the wiry coat. Would go along with what some of the other fellas here reckon
  11. Little bit light on the back end but that may just be her build. I wouldn't worry too much, people telling you how your dog should look don't know her as well as you do. If you think she can put a bit on then she probably can
  12. In australia it's illegal to hunt kangaroos and wallabies with dogs and I've had to give up walking my dogs late evenings because where I am there are so many of the b*****ds next to a reasonably busy road it's just asking for trouble
  13. Sounds good, i had a couple pures I used on hares and foxes and they were great dogs. Wouldn't mind getting another
  14. Nice pics mate, looks like a good day out

  18. Yeah same here. Makes sense they get those colours in the wild otherwise where did the colours in domestic rabbits come from?
  19. I ran into a whippet with my dogs the other day myself, it's a good laugh watching the other dogs tear around after em
