That’s a like Terry. However. The body says no so no it is. What we are facing is the younger generation taking over our sport. This, unfortunately is not happening because they, as we know, get more enjoyment from the IPad. Added to that, unfortunately the ground roots are not available in many areas, also known as NO rabbits. I genuinely have not seen one in a long time. Yes we have the hare and fox guys but by now they are few and far between. Why would a young lad get himself set up with a hutch, ferret, nets and the near impossible position of getting a permission. It isn’t going to happe

Thing is Bob. A lot of us guys, unfortunately, are getting, not wiser but older. What on Earth can be done when our leaders are against us? The Sporting bodies don’t seem to have a backbone and certainly no representation in Government. Look at the total membership on this forum and figure what a huge voice we have ffs. Where do we go ? Demo’s in the City? I don’t think so. Rubber bullets and tear gas. I’m all burned out pal. Jok.

I love this kind of post. Memories are essential at our time of life. My father and his best friend had 16 hives which were kept in a little conifer planting not far from the farmhouse. During the winter months they had to be fed syrup and the brood boxes made safe from mice, which, if I remember rightly , could get in just about anywhere. In the Spring my dad and friend would load hives onto a trailer and be taken to the local Willow Herb banks for the early honey. Some time later they would be moved onto the local moor so the bees could collect the heather pollen. (Best honey in my opinion).

I’ve a much better idea. Send me the rabbit and I’ll happily send you some mince ffs. Incidentally, I only ever fed my ferrets on dried food. No flies, no smell and no rotten carcass to get rid of. Jok.

Only the home of Rugby. Scottish Borders pal. Also won the the most beautiful town in Scotland. Famous for Melrose Abbey where I had the title of herald to the queen of Melrose, which, my mother was the the first queen and my grandfather was the the last person to ring the Abbey bell.
