    Lambs are causing havoc and wrecking the job, brilliant to sit among them today though and help a couple of ewes out that were struggling a tad in the heat. poor feckers born tomorrow onwards wont have it so good up here though.

    Just tripped over one of my long lost Talpex traps today (4 weeks at least). chuffed to bits to find it again even though it had a skanky rotten mole in it that I was not prepared to hang up on the fence lol.

    Nothing here today, hopefully something about over the silage fields tomorrow. They are in for a shock as the weather is downhill rapidly come Friday as the HP slips away.

    Anyone got them back yet? had our first on the 25th this time last year.

    the four lifted today were ploughed straight down the middle of the hill into the run, set Monday lifted today and they were at least 2 days dead all of them.

    I have free roam of thousands of acres can get muck straw or anything else I need really, just the more you put in the more they come to expect it. don't take them all is all I would say lol.

    Aye things ok, but I should have heeded Matts advice and collected earlier rather than let the count build up. lesson learned and to be honest without the vast acreage to hone in on I wouldn't be as far on as I am regards trapping them.

    I'm owed a good sum of money at present over £1000 but I can feel the reluctance to pay for my success of catching. don't mix friends with work is now my motto.

    the farm work is much better than domestic, getting paid the dues is the problem.
