  1. You mean like printing maps off the Internet, laminating them, marking the the areas with noughts and crosses while on the ground and using a mobile phone as a voice recorder? Now who does that?   2. Go get yaself a cheap metal detector and do as you state,i promise you'll be digging up nothing more than old haybob tynes and shear bolts from ploughs and combines. go for it and prove me wrong if you can?
  3. Would have helped if you'd remembered which county you lost it in south side of the stream is Co Durham, north side is Northumberland and the stream is 24" wide.do the sums yourself wise one. Really wish I was as wise as some try to portray themselves.
  4. This metal detecting lark is a highly skilled operation, bloody things detect more crap than enough until you learn to use the options correctly. I had a mate whose kit was £1000 + and we had a right slow game on to find 1 talpex.

Lovely expensive bungalow with a smart back garden and he's had a mole or two in wreaking havoc. popped in today for a look and was blown away with the amount of chipboard layed all over the lawn and 6 old garden forks rammed into the hill ffs.   15. Yes, ive used them too, good service,.....but to be fair, ive heard also, the same can be said for, "fourteen acre" & "magnum" ? Fourteen acre are also spot on don't know regards magnum though.

  22. Just watched the vid, looks a right chow on to me and uses two traps for the same catch.Duffus left for 3 days would be a better alternative in that situation.
