  15. As it slips away predicted it will continue to draw warm air up over us, but I agree and fancy a breakdown mid month with a zonal pattern taking hold.
  16. Roll on Monday HP locked in over the UK with temps mid to high teens and no rain of any real nuisance value, May very well end up a 10 dayer this one.

Don't always happen that way, but if you can change your commitments to fit in with the weather then so the better. you need to have an idea what the weather is up to first though. some folk I know couldn't care less what is coming down they just get on with the task ahead, used to be similar myself a lot of years ago. Then I noticed the poultry running for cover to their snug buildings when fronts rolled in. Basically I'm in the chicken camp nowadays and prefer looking out on wild weather rather than being in it wishing I was undercover.
  18. I grabbed 2 hrs today and set 30 traps that I hadn't planned on doing. The reason being I know its going to piss down most of the day here tomorrow. they can sit tight until Saturday which will be 5 degrees warmer and much calmer regards the wind. not rocket science is it?
  19. carry on carrying on, I prefer to plan my days out in the field when possible. Much prefer splitting logs inside or such like when it's pissing down and blowing a gale off the fell. but I take my hat off to you for such dedication.

  23. They arn't a forecasting tool they are live imagery of precipitation as it approaches.
  24. well they are fed direct from the METO at a huge expense to the data provider.by far the best and the only one I use is the NW v6 version. iv 'e the full yearly data package but radar only is around £3.50 @ month and the best money anyone working outdoors will ever spend.
