  1. He was shit on big style and the culprits know who they are.
  2. Agree regards it's ony the web and some folk take things too personally. big real world out there that we all live in.
  3. i'll give them a go along with the puntages, life is all about learning.
  4. Found him to be a cracking helpful lad through pm's and what I have today is greatly down to him. cheers Matt much appreciated!
  5. Jesus Christ these blades are indestructible, we got it mad hot in the vice and it wouldn't bend. decided to heat it on the bench and bash the life out of it with a mash hammer, still didn't bend one little bit. Take my hat off to the Japs and their steel making prowess so I remain the same as I was this morning. The best concave hole cutter in the North lol.
  6. bought 10 anyway they look challenging to say the least.
  7. Are these? look like some form of strap-on,buggered if I'm the first to having a go setting it. Similar to the puntage perhaps? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mole-Wire-Trap-2-St-Bavarian-wire-trap-trap-Wire-Wire-mole-trap/400837589736?_trksid=p2047675.c100009.m1982&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D33982%26meid%3D75a183dff0e446438172ccd78a003693%26pid%3D100009%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D331727386352
  8. Actually the handle is more bakerlite than plastic so may have a tad more resistance to heat.
  9. Was in my mind eddie also, but heating it in the vice with gentle pressure and a bottle of water pouring over the handle throughout may suffice. god knows we'll give it a go in the morning anyway.
  10. only need one knife so the plastic handle needs to be the giunea pig but like you say not difficult to rivet a new hardwood handle on. that's if the blade takes the stress I suppose.
  11. Didn't get time this morning ,I've got 2 of them one with the wooden handle the other with a plastic which was a tenner cheaper. Really loathe to have a go at the hardwood handle version (blades the same). we'll give the plastic one a go in the morning with copious amounts of cold water pouring over the handle as it gets heated and reshaped,my fitter mate reckons it could split the blade?
  12. And you are? Sick a reading your bollocks.. don't do it then.
  13. Anyway end of thread for me back to the main topic of which hori hori to bend in the vice.
  14. Torchey started it. I walk in his shadow. you got yours cheap lol.
  15. All done and looking forward to the delivery van, Clive don't spit the dummy out if I don't like them lol. just joking I'm looking forward to giving them a go, got to be better than the no mole alternative.
  16. 3 moles will pay for them so nothing to lose really.
  17. I'm bidding a lot more than £28.Lets see if there's another numpty willing to match lol.
  18. one gets what one wants regardless, least your lad will do ok out of it. only way I can get my hands on them due to your child like rant that had no substance whatsoever.so I'll do as always and get what I need regardless of the cost. treble quadruple who cares.
  19. Looks like I'm gunna have some puntages very soon regardless of what they cost me. Looking forward to getting them out in the field and doing an honest review up against the Talpex.
  20. Just looking at this new bullet probe and it does look well made and a decent bit of kit, proof will be in come setting day Wednesday. I'LL heat the hori hoi and flatten it in the vice, time will tell if either improve an already good catch rate.
  21. I could destroy the seller if I wished, not my style though and lets see how it goes.
