If you read the book: 'Stalingrad' by Antony Beevor you might begin to understand why the Russians acted in that manner. I am not condoning for a minute that behaviour, but having read the book and other accounts I can understand why it happened.

It wasn't only the Jews that the Nazis persecuted. They also targeted other groups of people and if you read about how they treated the Russian civilians as they pushed up to Stalingrad it was horrendously cruel. And, as I posted earlier; the Japs killed far more Chinese than the Germans killed Jews. But all we hear about is the Holocaust. To hear the BBC you would think that was all WWII was about. And that is a great disrespect to those engaged in or caught up in the other aspects of WWII.

One thing many people are not aware of are the 20 million plus Chinese killed by the Japanese during WWII. Nobody mentions that. But these days virtually every WWII TV drama or documentary focuses on the Holocaust as though that was the sole reason for the war.

You seem to be blinded into thinking that anyone who disagrees with you is an EU Federalist. If you bothered to read my post properly without the red mist of rage you would see that I have always advocated Brexit and would love to see the EU reduced to the trading organisation the UK voted to join. Nobody can convince me that the EU is a good thing its present form. But, unlike you Idon't believe that it is skint - far from it. You just don't get it do you? When France dismantled the refugee camps they started climbing on lorries in Belgium. They are being smuggled over in boats to Scotland from northern Europe. Whatever the French, Belgiums, Dutch or any of the southern countries do it will not stop them coming. It will just change the route. The only way to stop them coming is to remove the cause. The UK cannot support an increasing number of benefits seekers so they need to bring the benefits and health systems into line with other European countries. Then they will stop trying to get to the UK.

Not in sufficient numbers to make a difference. Same with the French and other EU countries. If you want to research the root of the problem I'd suggest that you look up the most popular destinations for these migrants then look up their welfare systems compared to the countries the migrants just pass through and you might realise where the problem lies. Viktor Orban refuses to waste money registering and housing his EU quota of immigrants because they don't want to stay in Hungary. They disappear north as soon as they have been registered in the EU. Same in Greece, Italy, Spain and Franc

The 'Problem' is in the way that the UK welfare and health systems are set up. It is one thing paying for the sick, lame and lazy UK residents all their lives. But another thing to throw that open to anyone who arrives legally or illegally. That is where the problem lies - in Westminster, not France. But, the only way to resolve this at this late stage is to leave the EU so that those who are granted EU citizenship by whatever member state no longer qualify.

What you have missed is that there is no way to get them off your land. The law doesn't allow it and the thing that is attracting them to your neighbours is that they give money to any poor people who make it onto their land. Not only that, but they pay for their health treatment and after a short period invite their families over. You don't do any of that, but you are the nearest land to theirs. Are you starting to dislike your neighbours?

So, let's say some people what to get to your neighbour's house, but your neighbour doesn't know them or want them there. These people camp on your land waiting to try and get over your fence to your neighbour's whenever they can. That's now your problem and the police won't let you do anything about it.

So, back to my origninal question - how do you know that the seller is French? You don't. You assume - that's not the same. Don't you think that the people who are trafficking these migrants from Nigeria and the Middle East might just be employing someone of their own kind to get them over the last hurdle rather than hoping Jean-Pierre might open a water sports outlet near to Calais?

They are protesting about a lot more than tax reforms. A Hell of a lot more. And why wouldn't they empty Sangatte into the UK? That is where they want to be and why should France hold the problem when the rest of Europe has let them travel through without restrictions? If the migrant route was reversed would you honestly do anything different? The reason migrants want to get to the UK is because successive British governments have failed to appreciate the attraction the Welfare State has on an increasingly mobilised Third World. The doors should have been slammed shut in their faces

That is why he wanted the UK not to get a Brexit extension. If the EU had shafted the UK there would be less chance of him getting stuffed at the upcoming European elections. As it stands Le Pen's FN party are going to kick his derrier. And he is frustrated because Brexit dragging on is spoiling his chances of getting his EU reforms through before the French people condemn him to the guillotine at the next French elections. The other day 17 of his 50 staff walked out on mass. He is very, very isolated now.

When I'm shooting rats in the neighbour's garden I throw a handful of micro pellets, the same as used by anglers. These pellets are highly nutritious and very smelly. They disappear into the grass and the rats have to root around to look for them. In the past when shooting in barns I've hung a bit of bacon up just out of their reach. This causes them to sit up quite still whilst they are trying to figure out where the smell is coming from. Gives me plenty of time to line the sights up.
