    I remember the late 90s when the blades came out, they changes the game on race bikes, i loved the zx10r and id love a rip on an H2, the feeling going near top speeds of those machines is addictive

    Anno they where giving it the but if you win you get a sponsor and will get decent money after and i said aye if i lose ive been robbed of £1200, i just could t justify paying that to fish for stockies, theres plenty of other things to spend £1200 on

    Talking of fishing comps, in 06 i won the north down heats for trout masters and qualified for fishi g grafham water, well the magazine rang me and said congrats bla, bla, then said id be fishing with a fella from over here when over in england, so im listening and the 64 thousand dollar question was how much? They told me it will cost me £1200 for fishing the finals, i said aye no worries give it to 2nd place, they said what? I said contact 2nd place and give him the chance for im not paying 1200 quid to fish in a comp i won the regional heats on, now give it to 2nd place good bye, fecking £1

    Some lovely bikes here lads good thread, i didont take any pics of mine, ive had, best enduro i had was a 600 husaberg what a beast of a bike, although i always love the kawasaki kx 250 rode many of those, all started on an rm50 with 3 gears what i learned on, it was a mate that had it and he taught me on it lol, always loved suzuki bandits and had a 600cc what a let down after coming of an R1, and one of the best rake around bikes i scooted around on for a while was a 250 super dream, they were an amazing sounding engine.     With most of us on here we simply didnt have the money to be flash harry so we made do, it made us better hunters/countrysports men we honed our natural instincts, same with fishing, used what we had to catch what we did same as golf we had 2 clubs and never let it stop us playing, it makes you think and use your brain to succeed. Obviously when we were old enough to work we bought some better stuff that made it easier.

    Fished in mille lacs in 92 as a kid of 11, we fished in dusk, for walleye and didnt get one, was full of cray fish and we caught loads of sunnies i think they were called, fished lake superior too and foul hooked about 40 off a pier on an island we sailed too, one of the best holidays ever, was over on the childrens programme of northern ireland. Also seen northern lights on mille lacs too one evening. When there we stayed in camp Ojibway with the church holiday, and won the fishing comp it was a holiday within a holiday lol.     Seen that with the bass fishing in the usa, always loved watching it on tv, i went in florida lake elbert i think it was called we had a cracking session using silvers as live bait, we landed around 17 fish and the biggest was around 8-9lb the other boats didnt touch a fish, the we old man said it was the luck or the irish lol, one fish i want to catch is the muskie

    Yes carp fishermen are nuts, spend thousands on gear for a weekend in a tent trying for 1 fish, on a commercial fishery, not for me, but the couple of carp fisheries over here are very clicky and bitchy.

    For hungry kids i think the local community centres should be feeding them game, the tv chefs should be on promoting the health benefits of eating game and wild caught fish, they should be taught how to catch and cook it, times are a must now feck all the lefty bollix bla bla they should be shown the wild larder and feed themselves, it would help thin the deer population too

    Probably to feed back info to the top dawg, dont forget certain members in government didnt want the unit to succeed as it was in its infancy and they didnt know if it would work, mayne and the lads made it and layed the foundation for what it is today, top of the tree in HM forces.     Watch the clips on youtube about him and the originals who speak of him, they all said he should have had multiple VCs, these where the lads who served under him, they where the men he rescued himself whilst being shot at, bombed, im all for supporting our troups, but it was politics in government that stopped him getting it, he was highly respected and led by example,
