  1. Nothing wrong with dog Imo, he was more than likely trying to tell you something, didnt like the bloke and he showed it. Big bag of toilet roll is something different thats made him unsure, protecting car is normal. Showing an instant dislike to someone for no apparent reason and id be inclined to think the bloke were dodgy and dog knew it. Bit of advice for anyone on here, any strangers start showing alot of intrest in your dog asking questions and wanting to come round see him, best thing you can do is tell them to feck off or tell them some bull shit, dogs shit, terminal illness, infertile,
  2. Top one is pepsi x full saluki other is kash x ruby wednesday (non ped whippet)
  3. Kept dogs outside before. I think in 10 or 11 yrs i lived in spain never had one of my dogs in house once. I know it is easier, especially when you have got a few dogs. Last lurcher i had in house and i enjoyed having him there and i think bond were better than ive had in previous dogs. Its not possible to kennel.a dog here, it would be gone same night. Even if i could kennel them it would still mean i could only spend half the time i could with one to one on each pup. So way im looking at it now is by letting 1 go i can spend double time on the 1 pup and thats got to pay off in end. I agree t
  4. That was my thinking/reason i got 2 this time and can see the pros in having 2 together and maybe if they were kennelled id keep.them both, but i have dogs in house with me an they come everywhere with me, even work. I can justbsee im going to end up with 2 half trained dogs that dont listen rather than 1 well trained dog
  5. It is nice to have a couple of dogs incase of injuries, however ive just got 2 pups about 2 week ago an i realise already ive made a mistake, never tried having 2 pups at same time and i can see its just not going to work. I like pups to be totally focused on me so reluctantly im going to move bitch on and concentrate on dog while there still only couple of months old. You live and learn i suppose, maybe in a couple of years ill get another

  10. Everyone will differ in opinion mate, id just go with a pup from two working parents doing job you wanting pup to do with no recurring injuries and no genetic faults, also being aware of litter wastage that happens with dogs of mixed breeding or 1st x to 1st x etc, etc. Put as much time as possible into dog, good food, good housing and rest is all luck, atb
  11. Cheers lads, it will be a couple of years before they get tested properly because of time of year they were whelped, cant wait. Im out all time with my mates dogs but its not the same, cant beat feeling of slipping your own dog after bringing them on from pups. Atb
