    2 bandits and half a salad I managed to get my rapid zeroed again at long last this morning. After getting an early finish I managed to get the mrs to give me a lift to my nearest permission ( she must know its pay day soon ). Any way I got settled in behind the sheds and not long after a magpie landed on the fence about 40 yards away. He was sat chattering away until he met his maker in the form of a crosman premier in .20 and slumped to the ground dead as the fence post from which he fell.     Focus on the horizon mate. Take double dose of motion pills and hope for zero wind lol Other than that don't fall over board. Tight lines pal You should come to Whitby with us to get used to it........... no boozing for me the night before. I learned my lesson the first time and spent the day feeding the gulls with what I was spewing back over board.

    I got some Wychwood ones from go outdoors mate. Neoprene so they're very soft and warm. Went shooting with Moxy in them and even he commented how quiet they were when walking Cheap too, £45

    In a word yes My mate has an A&M cylinder on his HW100KT and it handles a lot better than mine without one on it. Probably gets 20 or 30 more shots than me too. I'd expect a few more from .22 over .20 but it does quite a lot more

    It is distressing mate and I dare say its happened to most of us who hunt. Like you say, all our quarry deserves an instant death. I have had this happen before and I'm fairly sure the animal is dead but its just the body shutting down. If it was screaming then I'd guess it was dead.

    HW100 by a country mile. The regal is a good gun IF it comes from the factory shootin right. But the HW is a great gun and WILL come from the factory shooting right
