  1. It would be cheaper to buy the lamp than a decent dog .nowadays if you want a decent day dog there's usually phone number price tags attached to them
  2. Ok pal to far for me. But good luck with the sale cheers max
  3. Where about dare you mate might be interested
  4. I thought the box on the back was for a meal for 2 lol on a serious note I carry a 3lb goshawk round and believe me after a few hours my arms hanging so will be interesting to see how people get on with them
  5. That lamp looks hideous. And 2 kg I wouldn't buy one of them even if they lite the moon up and it looks like they took the lense idea from the big led lenzers I have one here some where good beam so this lamp should work ok but the battery looks daft or is it a lunch box stuck on the back
  6. What did he give you metacam if so that and a weeks rest and she should be putting a bit of weight back on it but I wouldn't let her run round for at least 6 weeks when it's the front it isn't so bad as that's the steering side of it if it was a rear they thrust from it and can in some cases end there carreers resting is the key if he can't find a break but hope it mends for you fella all the best max
  7. First of all mate I'm gutted for you as it's not a nice thing to happen to a running dog but more info would be needed like how many toes broke ? On which foot front or back and how many on the same foot a mate of mine had a dog injure its toe on the back foot and had it taken of it turned very wide on that side afterwards and ended its career I also had a dog cut its tendons on some broken glass years and years ago cost 600 pound to get its tendon sewn up 2 toes pulled back fine the other was flat after a while and stayed flat but could still run ok so didn't bother me
  8. I have seen a Romeo x belle dog run and it was utter shite very poor feet crap coat was tested week in week out never killed a hare only one on the lamp looked the part and did run one for 3 to 4 minutes but didn't actually think it was trying to kill it I think it was lost and trying to ask the hare for directions this dog was bought for a fare bit of money but apparently some of its sisters and brother were good and sold for 3 and 4 k so like people say not all in the litter make it but to Hawkins you have a fine looking animal pal which is a credit to you and as you say you go out alone
  9. In that first video the rabbits looked like they were droppers or it's when the corn had just been cut because the rabbits looked crap and the saluki being a sight hound couldn't see them on the end of it's nose didn't really impress me that said I have nothing against Salukis and would like to try a pure one day just to see what I could get out of one
  10. Thanks for the quick reply hope the dogs back on his feet soon all the best max
  11. Thanks for sharing the clips mate some cracking foxes called in there and a handy dog there ?what type of lamp are u using is it a blitz if so what battery you using as it gives a cracking beam out all the best max
  12. Some saluki pups on dragon driving with the parentage your after mars bar etc etc have a look there pal
  13. try chicory once established last for 4 or 5 years in big game covers we sow a nursery seed to protect it first year called triticaley but in a back yard you wouldn't need a nursery crop and the birds live it
  14. Still look light boned considering the lab in there would probably make a handy mooching type dogs
  15. Nice to here rew. the dog my pal had out of Romeo had soft feet didn't like the hard and although he killed a few I thought he could of killed a lot more than he actually did he was lampeduntil 3 years old so may be that didn't do him no favours but would of liked to see him in the day from being a young adult . hope yours makes a decent animal for you looks a nice strong young dog just hope the injured toe ain't like how my mates is it would spin them in knots one week then turn like a Artic lorrry on the next frustrating at times but now the dogs back lamping and doing ok all the best max
  16. Oh I thought it was one of the pups that your mate had out of his bitch to Romeo was it rew who put his bitch to him ? I'm probably getting my wires crossed my mate had a Romeo x belle dog and that didn't strike much that's why I asked but at least your getting them out and on stuff all the best for the season max
  17. Looks a decent day out and some decent rabbits but looks to me like the feather dog is coursing the rabbits and not striking on them is he the pup out of Romeo ?
