  1. Ha. Don't know if a hatsan is really my thing... with respect to hatsan, even the lads I chat too most on here would be "Rez... has he really got a hatsan?!" It's like gamo, I wouldn't consider those but would have an ultra. A slave to brand I would say. The unfortunately.

  5. You boys are f'kin diamonds lads. The offers of letting me borrow some of your rifles is just something else. WHAT A FORUM to be part of. Still thinking anyway, and will be for sometime. The TX and Walthers are appealing, but so is another Fenman. God sake. And Ive always wanted an 80y, but Id have to stick a CS500 unit on it. Same problem Marks got. Choice!
  6. So. I know I've been bangin on about a rifle to get next... and I've narrowed it down to the following. All new. Thoughts please, being as you lot of slags are the closest I know to the subject. HW80 .22 - I own a 97 in .22 far from standard, but I do, so it's a bit of the same in terms of weight and firing cycle. Preference. HW99S .22 - will need some work. A lot. Too light? Had one for a month or so. Really nice actually. Custom though. LGV .177 - beech stock is utter shit. Everything else, bang on. Lowish on power... luck of the draw. Ugly re the wood work. TX/PS - caliber doesn't m

  9. I'm asking this as it's the first thing that I thought when I read your post. And it might be the same reason as me... There just to big? For an air rifle. And I find large acres have other shooters with "real" guns as they keep saying. Though, I'm always asked to clear the rabbits from the flower garden in the summer.

  12. Ha. My old man told me as a young lad, never trust a older bloke called warren, dale, pascal or Sheldon. So I don't. He's set in his ways thought. Grew up post war England. Born 1935. So it's a bit hard to say how the world has changed.

No longer do with rim the muzzle ends of 100's maybe. There's less heard of them nowadays, although, the topics do go round in circles.

  20. Was gonna post same story. Shame. About people doing such things. I mean. The bell end. He's was in his 40's too.
  21. Yeah, Right. You might know them blokes, dont get me wrong and thats there thing. But you'd bang your pride and joy... an example as put, worth 2k in this case, in a 10 pound slip?! In reality, they may have more money then sense, or indeed, see the rifle as more as a tool, than something they've saved up for and cherish. I would also assume they wear tweed? x
  22. In fact your the dude that writes for a magazine. Ive seen your rifle in one of them... never forget a rapid in that condition, looking that good, with a Nikon like that running along side.
