  3. Few company's http://www.daf-petfood.co.uk/4-daf-frozen-dog-foods http://rawtogo.co.uk/ProductsandPrices.aspx.htm http://www.theyloveit.co.uk Just google raw dog food suppliers uk or I'm sure people on here can help with suppliers too... Personally I use Hall's tripe factory in Sunderland for Tripe, minced chicken, minced beef, liver bit have also used Durham Animal Feeds and found products to be ok if not a little more expensive but on the plus side they can deliver...
  4. I had looked at the saddlecloth but really narrowed it down to the above 2 jackets... Think I'm swaying more towards the Deerhunter for versatility, my concern with the Sportchief is that it say's "lightly quilted liner" and wonder if it would be a bit too warm after walking mile after mile ???
  5. I'm in need of new jacket for Rabbitting with Whippet and bit of Air Rifle shooting, was wondering if anyone had any experience/views/advice on which would be better jacket ??? Deerhubter Montana 5 in 1 http://www.grahamsonline.co.uk/product/1652 Or Sportchief all year 3 in 1 http://www.directshootingsupplies.co.uk/sportchief-allyear-3-in1-waterproof-realtree-jacket Can someone help in right direction ???

  10. @ Wi11ow - I have heard about surgical spirit but was worried about him licking it off and the side effects of that, also didn't want to apply on open/cracked wound... @Joe - been doing sea salt soaks and wrapping with vet wrap which both have helped massively but it'll be good to see what your thoughts are on Tuff Foot... I have bottle on the way so will post my thoughts and feelings about it...
  11. Just wondering if anyone has used this before ??? My whippet has grazed/split his stopper pads just running free (not being worked yet) and have ordered some but wondered if anyone's used it or heard any good/bad things about it ???
  12. My whippet has been running freely on local nature reserve and grazed/split both his stopper pads, will wrap with vetwrap for week or so only when running free/general exercise... Just ordered bottle of this though and wondered if anyone has any experience of it, used it, any good ???
  13. Others have all mentioned brands which are good but more importantly, go for a hard tail (front suspension only) as if you went for full suss you'd be knackered trying to pedal up any hills as the rear shock would take all weight and momentum making it proper hard work for yourself... eBay, guntree and www.pinkbike.com is excellent but little more too end market...
  14. That's well worth the night shift... Well done fella
  15. Cracking video by the way mate, well done again...
  16. Try this http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YwscylHcLDg Worked for me...
  17. Noticed this morning that my Whippet pup (9 months old) has a discoloured front tooth, looks like a purple ish/dark red/plumb colour, top half near gum line, rest is pure white as are the rest of his teeth. There are no signs of any redness, swelling or any apparent soreness... Tooth does not seem to be affecting him in any way and he'll happily chew things, play tug games etc I don't know if a trip to the vets is i order or anyone has any ideas as to what may be wrong/the cause ??? Any help and advice would be most welcome Will try and get photo up tonight if needed..

  21. Went up Swarland today and have to say, what an excellent set up... shop is like aladins cave with all sorts for sale, pcp charging cheaply available as well as hot/cold drink and snacks, Stu that owns the place is a top fella who is very approachable and very helpful... Also the lads that were up there today were very helpful and friendly, looking forward to my next visit... Logan - nice to meet you fella Bigmac - missed you by 10 mins so Logan informs me, but I'm sure I'll be there on pretty regular basis so will say hello... Be cool to meet more local lads off the forum up there

  23. Hello all, I'm new to the air rifle/hunting game and have just purchased myself an Air Arms S410 classic (2nd hand), at present I don't have any permission at all although I'm working on it/ looking for land to work my whippet too, out knocking on doors and posting letters. I'm from Blyth, Northumberland and as I ain't got nowhere to shoot I have been looking for clubs/ranges and have came accross Swarland Air Rifle Club, just wondered if anyone from here has been or goes regular ??? If it's good place to start etc ??? Any help would be greatful... Atb Andy...
