  1. Jwhizz - mines paws were cracked and stopper pads split open/cut He didn't like it being applied but don't think it hurt him, may sting a little but certainly safe to put on I would've thought - that's what it's designed for... Does smell toxic but you can be sure he won't try and lick it off his paws...
  2. Well my whippet has just turned 11 month, his recall was never excellent but was good but recently he has started ignoring any recall by either calling him or whistle and appears to have selective hearing... I'm wondering if it's just a Kevin & Perry stage he's going through like a teenager and whether he'll grow out of it ??? He's also started taking off into woods, hedgerows etc ( I walk him on a nature reserve, huge open fields surrounds by woods etc) I've started to walk away when he ignores me and also was going to start stopping and hiding when he takes off in front of m
  3. I used this http://www.lawsonanimalfeeds.co.uk/wound-treatment/207-tuff-pads.html on my whippets pads and stoppers, put in spray bottle for easier application - made his pads like leather and helped toughen up stopper pads which he kept splitting open whilst just free running during summer when ground was solid... Has antiseptic too which helps clean/heal wounds...
  4. Kriss - you have PM re nephews 6.5 x 20 x 42

  6. Ah Cheers for clearing that up, didn't know if was same scope or you were selling 2 from seperate rifles... Wish it was 6.5 x 20 x 42, or even 4 x 16 x 50, would've snapped ur hand off...

  14. Rex, It's the same bloke (Gordon) who I'm having my stock built by, I'll call him later and ask if it's ok to pass his number into you... Can't see any reason why it shouldn't be but I'll check 1st and PM you his details hth Andy

  16. Hi Rex, im having a thumbhole stock made for my S410 by this guy - http://www.airarmsownersclub.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=28221 He's a proper canny bloke, mine is costing £250 but you can pay more for more intricate work etc Other than Geordie, if you are looking closer to home then just google Custom air rifle stocks.
  17. I'm not disagreeing with you there mate.... I'd jump at the chance of owning one if I had the money...
  18. I've got an AA S410 myself but never had another pcp to compare it to... Don't think anyone is saying there's anything wrong with HW 100 but I reckon it should be renamed "Clitoris" cos every c***s got one... Ha ha...
  19. Ok mate... Will have a think and might get back to you... Cheers.
  20. Does this come with mounts mate and is the sunshade included too ??? Might be interested if prepared to come down in price a bit ???
  21. Cracking write up the Bigmac and thanks once again for heading up Swarland for me a blast with ur rifles and arranging tuning... Was good to meet you and littlehunter too... Really pleased to hear the young'un took out 2 bunnies well done young sir... Nice shooting by all 3 lads..
  22. Ah nice one Mac, hope to see you there
  23. Right lads - looks like it's gonna be a polish/clean of all internals etc and see how I get on with it before splashing out for V-Mach kits or anything else... Mac - I'm gutted I never got to the range yesterday, I'm normally up there on Sundays as i work every Saturday... (Heading up today but it'll be about 4.30 before I get there) Defo would love to have a few shots with proper tuned 97 and see the difference, it'll also be good to meet you in person for bit crack as think my wife gets bored of me talking rifles/whippets/rabbiting, and I'm only down the road in Blyth...
  24. What's people's thoughts on V-Mach kit v's clean and polish of internals ??? Right people, I'm after some more advice... Will a clean, polish and tune of internals be sufficient to make rifle smoother and reduce recoil or do you's recommend having a V-Mach kit fitted ??? Would having kit fitted make noticeable difference from just having clean, polish and tune ??? Any advice would be great...
  25. Gafer - if you have no joy or response on here mate, try Pinkbike... You should have no bother selling it on there and you can upload pics straight from your PC/laptop Hth
