  1. It won't exactly make you skint really will it!?!? Lol
  2. It's just basically a collie, bull grey mate. And there's no such thing as an irish staff
  3. Ha no mate, I didn't, sorry if I sounded a bit defensive! Lol. I was just saying I know exactly what your saying!
  4. Yeah that ill be great not so much bothered if they not working. Thanks alot Just spoke to him and he said he thinks they only bred it as a one off and his is actually crossed with a pitbull. He also said out of a litter of ten, there's only him and another person that's kept them and he wouldn't have another!! He said it's bit a few people now and it's just hard work because it's even gone for him before now. His was the runt by the way!! He wants putting that dog DOWN! ! In my eyes you should never cross a pitbull with guard breeds. Just a time bomb waiting to happen U don't need to tell m

  6. My mates got one, he got it from somebody that bred it locally to me. I could try and find out a bit more more for you if you wanted as to whether there still breeding them and if there working etc?
  7. I'm not 100% but I wouldn't be so sure about that. My car got broken in to a couple of year ago and the copper I was talking to said I hadn't to tell him about the air rifle in my car, I asked why because I thought it was legal to keep a sub 12ft/lb in your car, he said no, it's only legal to transport it to and from where your shooting, not to store it.That's just what the copper said, whether it's right or not, I don't know because I think most of them don't even know the law themselves! Although it is better to be safe than sorry, keep it indoors mate!
  8. Yep, seen those plenty of times! As to what it's down to, I've always wondered myself because I've never been convinced about them being pets either!
  9. Ok thanks skycat I'll not bother with the collar then and try bringing him in at nighttime, I didn't want to use the collar in the first place because I know it's only because he's a pup and he'll grow out of it but it was just the neighbours I was bothered about. He lives in a kennel with the run of the garden by the way
  10. Can anybody tell me if these are ok to use or would it be detrimental to a pup in the future? Basically my pups four and a half months and he lives out the back. He barks when he's trying to play with the other dog but because it's light a lot later now, he does it most of the night. Now, I could cope with it and wait till he grows out of it but it's the neighbours I'm more bothered about because it is getting a bit much recently. So, do I use it or not? I don't want to ruin any future training in any way. Thanks for any info, Adam
  11. Hiya mate, I've got a theoben evolution .177 for sale. I know it's not a springer, it's a gas ram but obviously it's up to you?
  12. Where did you get that from mate at that price if you don't mind me asking? Or am I better off not asking?!? Ha

  14. Where's the place in Middleton mate?
  15. Cheers lads, thanks for the input. So there's nowt wrong with the food then but do you think I could try and fit another feed in or just keep it as I am? Thanks
  16. Cheers mate, I thought that was what's best. I just didn't know if the amounts were right? He usually eats it all in a few seconds when I feed him. Will he eat more or is it too much?
  17. I've not tried that. What are the benefits of that over the 28?
  18. Oh yes, forgot to mention, it gets the odd chicken carcass aswell. Yes gain is a complete food but I thought as much variety and meat as possible is good? Is this correct? Oh and I think I'll give the weetabix a miss!!
  19. Alrite lads, I'm just wondering if I'm on the right track with feeding my pup. He's just gone four months and gets fed about 360g of food three times a day. His food consists of roughly equal amounts of meat/pasta or rice/veg/gain28 bit of brown bread, bits of liver and kidneys all mixed up together in a bucket. Does this sound ok or is there anything else he should be getting aswell, He's 19" tts and weighs a bit more than 13 kilo to give you an idea of size. Thanks in advance, Adam
  20. I think everyone will have their own opinion with regards to which dog to get but to be honest, as long as both parents are workers, im sure most crosses SHOULD be able to do a few rabbits with ferrets! Although something with a bit of collie may be a bit easier for you to train if it's your first. Good luck mate
  21. Either or, not fussy! Although it really winds me up when someone comes who's noisy and drags their feet!!!
  22. Sounds very similar to how she is!! Ha, yea mate they do sometimes! At least I've got half an idea [BANNED TEXT] to do though now, I can't start working out how best to put it in to practice. Cheers pal
  23. Haha, no worries. Cheers mate. That's the sort of answer I was looking for. BUT, would you do that at home or in a real scenario? Because she's just not interested in toys/balls/dummies or anything like that. She only wants them when there running or still twitching!
