out on my road bike yesterday and stumbled across this lying in the grass, still warm to the touch and very freshly killed as it took me another hour to get home in the car, drive back up there, at this point it was cold, but the blood was still runing out as i carried it! so im guessing its fresh? not the biggest but would be a shame to waste it!

Whitefeet I know exactly what u mean about how dogs can just "give up" I think if u give it them TOO easy they start living the easy life! You gotta make them know they've gotta work for a LIVING!! Gives them a bit of fight too :-)

Iyd say a small lurcher colliexwhippet or beddyxwhippet, pure whippets are nice to have around the house, easy maintenance, v fast and easy to train, very loving too, soo loyal, but damn there refusal to please csn be irritable, as far as a good dog that will catch rabbit goes there bang on, but for a good return after, make sure u get a bitch to have any kind of retrieval, as the males are hard work. Just my experience atb

Yeah that would be nice but ive alrdy got a hutch, food and I cba to unwrap my Christmas presents go easy on the wrap! Ive got one now which is in shropshire! See sometimes best to be patient :-D

I know! Haha well im hoping to get my own permissions soon but its a quarry, dont wanna run my dog in a quarry so might only ferret that and maybe try get a swap for a dog run permission

Hi me and my old man would like a request for permissions in or around shropshire, I am fairly new to ferreting as I only been with my dad when I was young but he has done it for years before that, ideally I would like to run my whippet but can clear pests with ferrets also. Many thanks for any forthcoming replies

I have same problem with my ped whippet, I know whippets r timid anyway so I put it down to being a pup.. in the house hes hard as nails not scared of nothing as soon as im out hes petrified, ive even tryed to socialise him with small dogs even puppys same ages damn things $#!t scared..
