Seen one bitch and a dog work in the last century .and the didn't need to be doubled up and the didn't work to please no one , except hunting the ditches and the do that single handed too . the still men breeding out of good dogs and stock. Can be the same with some who hunt cover or go digging in the summer. Farmers and other hunters see and hear of the same ones doing it. Same ones go at night then if get no kill. It is a problem cos the fk places up and where the livestock out to , where the not wanted around the place. Same retrobites are out to try dogs that don't last and egos for themselves the way the want it all the own way. All burrows fkd in June , etc. Sorry for the rant but just saying. And yes they have no respect

There's all different types who rob ya dogs . jealousy. Or the think because of what people say or want that worth money .or people who abuse them and are just a object , cruel CTS .also other hunting men who can't bring a dog on and are always changing. Antis too, the same , you never see them again .as you said if the heat on them then the get rid .had a couple of mine robbed once when in England and two lads had took em and went night digging .I got them back that night lucky enough.the didn't give a shit.also I was in prison and I had a known cracking little terrier and a lad I know jumped

i hunt all different areas and my dogs arnt big and the can struggle in places . I had a big dog off the famous names and worked well and then on the other hand it wasn't happening . I'd try or work a smaller dog and saw how dog made proper work of it . the proofs out there when you see what's working for you and size is a major factor

true it gives people a idea of the size of chest and anyone who has followed it ( this is years ago when I saw it mainly done )if the had the own savy would say ,I have little or big hands . the judges at shows , some just do it as the thing to be looked at or give themselves a fair know and probably because of there dogs size . saw judges though judging big terriers and going back to a couple he liked and choosing it from maybe some margin in his hands .I think some just do it to look say professional

True. Best to stay away from such places . the cts them though blaming lamping for that Belgium shepherd .I saw a Alsatian and a collie one evening panting and blood and heading home up the road . next day farmer I knew from around there said dogs killing sheep a few times there and seen but never got the dogs but the be places around there getting visits who have dogs . dangerous game to be out lamping like that though , especially where things like that might have gone on and some with maybe acquiring a lurched or a few -

There's places before that there where as soon as your dog enters a field in the daytime it would be shot and the put the dog maybe on the side of the road for you or dump it . even if it had no regard for sheep or the is none there . -
Yes if knew a good person for it .the none with terriers . myself , I like to keep my terriers fit as possible , road work , and some little runs about or hunt would give them what is natural and good little stretch after a dig on way home at times . I know some (who like sound of the own voice ) just take it out when winter comes and that ain't for exercise.kennel to car , etc

When I bred and raised two lurchers , a old man used to tell me to give them loads of calcium in the diet , right up to growing and into adults . he said that the take knocks and there bones need be at the strongest .as like a dog brought up on crap , the be brittle and break . I'd also read though that too much calcium the can't absorb ?
