    end of the day .got a few hunts ,

    thanks .was windy cold up the hill today .weather got worse later .is a bit of a hard burrow at times for a dog to hold it . be saying to myself , a dog who take hold job. Can be bit dangerous with sandy below and soft ground and it has its visitors with two and four legs .was out Sunday and one run up into boulders but must passed through and wasn't in there .

    good write up and information. I'll sleep tonight after reading all that. I give my dogs raw meat at times , waste of the butcher but usually good stuff.lot of fat in some of it .what about worms ?

    He's very keen still .dug to it a couple of weeks ago. Worked well. Five times I've dug to him this season and non of them we're a push over for a dog .it has a couple of scabs still healing

    season coming to a end here in places .the weather is tough out though. Tried this ole place , the terrier and the mungrel lifted something from the bush and hunted on a bit of a scent for two fields .I found the lurched up the top and I went down to a long range burrow .that's where the terrier was to ground . got a bolt after about a hour . it moved a good way and I knew it wouldn't just sit there in this patch . its a old sandy place too . hopefully get one dig to the dogs still as the need rest to heal. Not like they care but have draw the line.respect for dog and quarry

    My girlfriend has horses and a girl off her farm decided to go on a hack down the lanes on her horse with her dog running down the side of them. The horse got spooked and kicked the dog stone dead. The girl was heartbroken and couldn't face her horse for weeks. Lucky to come out alive after a horse kick.jees, I was lucky the horse was kicking ,stamping at will and didn't connect . dog wasn't frightened and sounds like yours apache was tough and lucky with the consequence

    you have to keep that type of dog on a lead .even if it doesn't attack dogs , people or livestock . easy to lose and lot of danger roads , etc. I borrowed two little dogs once and one spooked a horse and was hanging on its tail . and taken about. How wasn't injured or nothing was fortunate. Dog just had no fear of size or nothing

    not asumed , lied about by a internet warrior who have plenty of lies to hide and certainly arnt genuine .havnt had a drink since before xmas so dont bother me.end ov. Supposed to be on the same side in the hunting worled. Shame the more more wrong uns in the game nowadays

    Looks a good un and sounds a cracker. Hope you get yourself your own line going out of him. Love to see him work but I'm not in your part of the world and I've no working russels lol and seen non working or out for a few seasons. Still , the should be out there ,aab.

    Yes we only hunted with eight dogs ,Sunday gone , was OK. Other week the was about forty of them out , no harm. Yes some men here won't use a terrier as from now , as the don't want to come on them pregnant hunting. The digging lads will finish now or in two weeks say.

    Yes OK really. One dog needs a rest though so don't know if he be worked for what's left of the season or how this weather and that will fair out , when do ya think you be finishing ?, . was out Sunday with local harriers and beagles the hunted a few .lurcher had no hunt lol

    tried permission , foxes would be a nuisance for farmer here , ducks chickens lambs etc. Saw a vixen through the cover .nothing to ground. Walking back and had dog off lead.disappeared. I found it to ground about a hour later working .dug to a hardy b*****d.
