    It really does depend on the Jill,if your in any doubt leave well alone,Ur just stress the Jill out. I have a Jill i can be with during birth and handle from hours old ,i have another Jill that will tolerate me from about a week,But i have another one that would rip my throat out all the time the kits are with her right up to weening.Soon as kits have gone she is back to her soppy self.

    No thank f**k In his family's defense it seems they reported him to the authorities about a month ago as they were worried about his behavior,he was also seeing a head specialist apparently .The old bill went and spoke to him and came to the conclusion he was ok

    Crack on bud love my chickens If your limited for space then a movable run is best imo. I done some meat birds last year and they turned out well gonna do em again for sure. I brought fertile eggs hatched em out (17 out of 18 hatched dressed out between 7lb and 9lb cost all in £4.50 a bird and they taste like chicken lol

    Load of bollox mate u carry on as you are I would consider my ferrets very good workers but there soft as shite to handle BUT THAT'S WHAT I WANT why on earth would anyone want to work a ferret that was aggressive/nippy etc. I want my ferrets to see me as God i can shove my hand in there food bowl /carcass etc down blind holes whilst working etc,Don't be fooled though you would not want to be Mr bunny when my crew come calling I do not handle/play with my ferrets as much as i should (work commitments) but every day i feed em they all get picked up spoken to, stroked tummy rub etc might onl

    No problem,Keep your adult hobb separate until at least the kit is fully weened about 8-10 weeks.Then introduce them ALL together in a run or something similar (NOT IN A RESTRICTED HUTCH) Mum will be there to help the youngster out stay with them and keep an eye out ,put food down etc should be fine your get a lot of chattering and excitement (bear in mind the old hobb has been on his own for 10 or so weeks) but should be fine.Ive done this numerous times and never had a problem.I think the older Hobbs realize there young and don't see them as a threat!
