A lethal parasite that can kill dogs has been found in several locations across Wales. Hundreds of cases of lungworm have been reported by concerned vets and dog owners, according to an interactive map created by the Act Against Lungworm campaign. The disease, which can be carried by slugs and snails, is a parasite that can pose serious health risks to dogs and can result in death if it is not diagnosed and properly treated. Dog owners are being urged to be wary after men reporting to be dog wardens called at a home attempting to seize a pooch. In an incident on Monday afternoon, July 24, two men called at a home in the Newtownkelly area of Coalisland, Co Tyrone , and said they were there to 'seize a dog' living in 'unfit conditions'. Yeah I agree with what your saying and I have no doubt all the dog lads on here have good animal husbandry what the problem in my eyes is some scrot can phone up a charity and make a complaint for no other reason other than to Cause the said person a whole lot of grief size ten boots crashing through your place going through all your private stuff causing everyone in the household untold Stress and alarm when all that's needed is one person in a little blue van coming at a reasonable time of the day to have a word. As is portrayed in most of the programmes they ram down our throats.
