So when I asked about 2 pups you bred bieng for sale and you told me they done nowt had been left in a pen and the lads that bought em hoodwinked you why wernt you there getting em back ? Genuine qestion ? As you seem a genuine lad it deserves the right answer, the dog was taken by my mate sean who paid £350 for it,he is another travelling lad and loves his terriers, he comes out with me on the rats, he did try to buy the bitch as well, he offered the lad £500 for her but she had already been lined at 9 months of age to a pom/cross, the lads that bought them originally paid full price and s

You are correct, fixed that in the original post. John Winch, Barrister.You would think that he would be a bit more careful with his words, as they say "words matter" and he might offend a lot of breeders. Heaven forbid he offends somebody.. A lot of good men on have been breeding Patterdale Terriers for generations and are very proud of the pedigree. Would be like a kick in the gut to find out that the name was wrong. the reason for my asking was quite simple, I bred a litter of digging terriers a while back and that dog is a ringer for a dog I gifted to the lad I bred it for, I have since found out his lad has gone to university and given the pup away, thanks for your reply Lee, WMyou bred a litter of digging terriers plucky?? Unfortunately they arrested me and carted me off kept me 9 hours in a cell we asked in the custody room for the warrant and paper work of what was taken they could not provide anything to me or the solicitor They claim they had left it at the property No paper work was found 9 month later they emailed Clive stating they had forgotten to leave it and sent him a copy trying to get anything from them is like banging your head against a wall but ill plod on Keep at the asreholes they're trying to grind you down mate. Atb.

Hi mate This is just my opinion mind but taking that type of dog on pest control is to put it mildly, very dodgy it could cause you the odd problem. No malice intended, just what I'm thinking some of these so called charities would say all sorts of nonsense and cause you a world of Trouble.

I watched a few videos on youtube one about the immunity rats have built up to poison making them what the presenter called super rats and a couple of videos of the Severn valley ratters which is a Plummer terrier rat pack I must say in all honesty I was well impressed with the efficiency of these wee terriers. Well done lads.

Creating A New Line Of Working Terrier?

I think its "one mans meat is another mans poison", we keep what we like and so long as they are well cared for thats all that matters, all types of terriers have been discussed on these threads that is what its there for, you can knock Plummer as much as you want but he was an expert on genetics and if somebody is thinking of starting a new line or breed/type then it pays to know what to expect, "knowledge is power", ignorance will breed you nothing of note, if anybody fancies reading up on genetics there are a few good reads, I bought "Practical Dog Breeding and Genetics" by Eleanor Franklin
