    Is it just me that thinks the born again Christians go at it a bit harder than say your run of the mill raised to be a Christian type does. I was brought up through the church, baptised, bible class,Sunday school, youth fellowship, BB's you name it I got the badge. Never in all the years did I hear a minister, church elder, Sunday school teacher rattle on like some of the religious fanatics we have now.

    So, do all believers go to heaven?. Do different religious believers go different heavens?. Is there only one true religion and a lot of other religious believers barking up the wrong tree?. When two armies are facing each other and both being told god is on our side, whose side is he on?.

    Firstly, there was no point whatsoever Cameron trying to repeal the ban whilst in coalition with liberals.     Much as that article boils my piss, I have to ask myself daily why is this and countless other cases allowed to happen?. Why are we systematically being watered down?.     A three quarter to a three quarter is not going to throw a litter of three quarters, the pups could end up nearly full greyhounds or say 50/50. True test of a lurcher, one on one on a green field?, I'd dispute that as would I'm sure a lot of people. Without speed you have nothing?, why not run a greyhound then?. Yes, obviously you need a level of speed, but there's a damn sight more required of a lurcher in the genuine sense of the word than just speed.

    I suspect a lot of it comes down to concern about finding homes for pups. Even if someone decided to breed a litter because they wanted a pup bred that way, they're still faced with the possibility of being stuck with half a dozen pups that no one wants because it's an uniusual cross that most people wouldn't be prepared to take a chance on.     I've always wondered why gundog lurchers aren't more popular and I'm talking about the majority of gundog breeds being used, not just labs. Perhaps it's because the majority of lurcher owners now don't actually look for the traits that were the very essence of a lurcher years ago and now consider speed and a racy build to be the main priorities when considering a lurcher.
