I agree that the old way of the man proving and the women looking after the house and kids is no longer valid due to the costs of running a household. But then you have all the influence that social media has on the kids, They are being brainwashed, Parents give very young kids tablets and phones to play on. Most can use these devices even before they can even speak properly, Its the easy option but who's to blame, if both parents have to work all hours just to keep a roof over their heads?. -

The way the world has always been. Watched a programme about coins being minted when they were all gold and silver. Henry The Eighth recalled all coins and had them re minted buy replacing 10% of the gold with copper. Coins from his reign are darker than before he took the throne. He pocketed that 10% of every coin that was changed, When Elizabeth the first came to the throne she had all the coins re minted again to 100% gold and silver.

You would be surprised where money gets washed nowadays mate, The usual car washes, Nail bars, Turkish style barbers but then there's the pubs and clubs along with café and restaurant's, anywhere people pay in cash as well as card.

Even if you clip up, which i do, you usually get a few turns on the reel whilst sinking the line.

Never had a tip break on the bite, i have landed carp well over 20lb on a 1 1/2 oz tip and 6lb line with a 4lb hook length. If you use a QD reel like the TDR and have the drag backed off even the most vicious bite is not a problem, another tip is to leave your front rod rest loose so it can spin on the take. I have bust tips in strong winds whilst using braid with tip wrap and when the line gets covered in willow fluff but never on a take.

Mate of mine was diagnosed a few years back, they removed a massive lump from under his arm, He had all the Chemo and that. It then spread into his stomach and internal organs. He was offered a trial with some drug or other. a couple of years later and he is still here, Plus the cancer has gone in all but 2 places and he is still receiving treatment, If they catch it early enough then they have a very high success rate of curing it.
