My old man worked as for McAlpine's when they built the M69 in the mid 1970`s, He was in charge of booking all the plant operating times for the main plant sub contractors. Tried for a couple of years to get a decent picture of one, never did, I was thinking the other day, around 10 years ago one September afternoon i was walking around the fields with a gun and one of the dogs, Walked down one hedgerow that was absolutely stuffed with Swallows, I mean thousands upon thousands, they took no notice of me or the dog, I assume they were congregating prior to migration.

I have had fast dogs made to look daft by February hares, Ears back and full throttle they are a creature to behold. Watched one of mine straight lined over 3 fields and into a great big wood, He caught it in the wood but the thing is he caught a hell of a lot the rest of the season, it just appears that February and the frosts, combined with most of the daft ones already dead makes for a rocket on legs lol

Been there and done that several times mate, i made one promise to someone who was told they only had 2 weeks left, It took 2 years in the end, trust me when i say its not easy and it very nearly killed me, We looked after the Mother in law until she went into a coma again that took over a year, That's a long time to be a full time carer for someone and not earning anything, But the state does give you £60 for 24/7 care.

My brother was in residential social care for a while, I kid you not £1800 per week and they had ten of them in there, It was all about the money being independently owned and run, I talked to social services about my concerns and there answer was they new what it was like but there were little if any alternatives. Back when houses were a couple of grand for a standard 3 bed semi, the mortgage was about 25% of the average blokes weekly wage, Now its more like 70% or even more. Instead of always growing the economy then perhaps they should start by balancing the books first. Thatcher decided we would become the warehouse of Europe and let all our own industry go to the wall. The thing is its not just us, The whole of the Western world is the same.

They have smashed all sense of community, Not many even have time for themselves never mind others, everybody is just trying to keep there heads above water. This model the treasury keeps perusing of mass immigration is just not sustainable and is having the biggest effect on the poorest in this country, House prices sky high. rent is just ridiculous , Mortgage rates higher than they have been for decades, the tax burden at a rate its not been at for seventy odd years, Eventually it will all come crashing down like a house of cards, and then what?.

Or just maybe its because the old style wife stays at home and looked after the kids whilst the husband was the breadwinner was smashed by successive governments in pursuit of more tax revenue to service an ever increasing debt due to miss management of public funds.
