Back in the day deer could become a bit of an obsession, Like most hunters i believe its all about the chase and not the kill, even though the kill is the ultimate goal. We have huge numbers of goldfinch here, The same with Tits, Chaffinches have been suffering badly from Scaly leg and other mites over recent years, Greenfinches also appear to be in decline, The green woodpecker is doing well along with the Lesser spotted. Sparrow hawks are less common this year compared to other years and Kestrels are getting rarer every year, Hear Barn owls every night and the odd Tawney, Sparrow's and Starlings appear to be around in the same numbers but in much lower numbers than when i was a kid, I blame plastic soffits and facier boards and well kept roofs.

I live near MIRA (Motor Industry Research Association) They have been testing hydrogen cars for a good few years, Two years ago they build a whole factory dedicated to testing Hydrogen as an alternative to heating and lighting Homes. Testing is going on as someone with deep pockets is paying for all of that testing and evaluating.
