Its just a cheap compact I have so I,m not sure about the lens mate, I,ll try the manual setting though, another question I have, my bird shots are slightly hazy when I take the shots on bright sunny days Suspect your to far away some compacts shake a lot at the top end of the zoom...maybe invest in a wee tripod see if that helps....if you look at the dog shot jumping the gate the dog appears out of focus and the gate is sharp.....maybe if you can get your shutter speed up a bit...is there a sports mode on your compact? No mate ? What modes do you have on your cam? fuzz

a change off address form is normally sent out with your firearms certificate, if not give them a ring and im sure they will send you one, move, fit your cabinette and inform them via the form, they will come out and check your cabinette and thats it, all quite painless
