Actually many do for sake of the kids. My wife's parents were Algerian migrants to France in 60's. Obviously then all the kids went to school with a bunch of french kids, so for the kids they did Christmas. All of their kids have then gone on to do the same with their own kids.......though admittedly half married non-Muslims or don't particularly live as Muslims. There is a lad that has just started in my boys class, his mother is Muslim morrocan & father half turkish they too will be doing Christmas. Muslim lad I went to school with (the only one at school) also did Christmas. T

Stick with it mate. Set yourself goals.... Since I've set the rule of not touching it until the wife & kids are away it's been a breeze. Just like giving up the fags, never think about it now....

So last wkend we were round an expat couples house for dinner & drinks. The bloke has just had a hernia operation, so I was doing the usual "how are you doing?" bollocks & the bloke starts venting about how the forced time off work & his cycling is making him miserable & he says in front of his mrs & his kid......"work & exercise are my whole life". You could be right. There are no records of lynx attacking anyone (Quick google search).So I'm sure that would be taken into account. Dogs kill kids every year. Personally I'd be much more concerned about the influx of Cane Corsos & other such made up mastiff guard breeds into the hands of fcukwits, than any lynx running around deep forest.

I think a lot of folk are still sulking. I thought the worst at first, but if a technical fcukwit like me can adapt, anyone can! There's still the odd blip, but I'm still able to talk bollocks..............so I'm over it

Next dog I get I might seriously consider getting a cat at the same time. My mrs is a cat person, I'm not, but it's a ballache living next door to cats when you're dog ain't broke to them........especially when they are geriatric & little chance of escape!

It's shit anyway mate. Last time I was there I'd only recently got married & my first born was on the way, so wasn't even tempted. I left thinking "I've finally grown up!" Haha..... I did when I was a young man. It's awkward as fcuk & I can't say I ever came away thinking it was good, despite the women looking amazing. Quite a hollow experience really, but you live & learn.....

It's been a real problem for years where I'm from mate. Shooting syndicates dominate the landscape. Growing demand for big days, but dwindling demand for the meat, what else are they going to do? My mates son has just begun his game keeping career on an estate just over the border in Suffolk. This isn't commercial, just for friends of the owner, but they have three keepers & weekly 3-400 bird days throughout the season. The estate owner is completely reliant on sending the birds over here to the continent. Brexit worries the guy. If this arrangement is effected he will close the shoo -
