    5-5 pah! The other day, I started at 8 (work) then went to the permission at 6 and stayed until 4am.... 20 hour day The 6pm to 4am bit was the most fun and time flew during that bit. Mind, I then crashed out totally monged for 24 hours...hmmm maybe it isn't so easy.

    Oh my lord, almost shot my bolt. Other than porn, that is the closest you can come to porn... guns and chainsaws.....all you need is a lovely lady in the middle of all that, maybe a pint and a pie....and well, heaven. haha. Oooh couldn't knock me up and nice rough edged chopping board could ya? haha.

    Very nice mate, I'm hoping to get my first golf course permission on the 9th. I love the HW100, I have the full size thumbhole. Great shooting.

    **WARNING** This post contains info all experience hunters take for granted, or do as second nature. For the newbies or 1st time hunters like me, there MIGHT be some helpful tips in here. After 4-5 trips out with Bigmac and Vislauk, last night Bigmac took me off the leash and let me do a bit of SWS (Stalking without supervision). I’d mark myself 7 for effort but 1 for achievement….I came home last night with many lessons learned, but an empty bag. I’m still trying to get my eye in when stalking, to start the night I walked around with Bigmac but I was managing to spot the odd rabbit

    HAHA, nice one Mac. I (SHAME) had an SMK Synxs - 5" groups at 20 yards was good shooting! Hardly enough power to punch a hole in paper. Urgh. utter rubbish, so bad, couldn't trade it in for a set of AAA batteries.

    Welcome mate, you're a jammy lad for sure! If you are ever short of some help, there are a few of us up here in Northumberland too! For the pics... 1) You need to go into your profile and set up an album. 2) Upload your media to the album 3) when you write a post, there is a button next to the smiley face, it says "my media" 4) When you click on that, you can select your album, then the photo you want to add. Done... Well, that is how I do it, I am sure someone may have a simpler way!

    There are a couple of Hawks and a Kite around Bigmac & Vislauk's permission, spoils the fun when they are out....everything is so skittish. Good on you getting out alone...just stay out of the shadows

    The first couple of trips out I didn't think there were many rabbits, but the other night, no Hawk or Kite out and we must have seen 30+ BIG ones too. It's lovley being presented with 2-3 rabbits at teh same time and picking which one you want to shoot.

    That is something Bigmac has shown me too. Another thing that is tough, shooting something from 30 yards is one thing, picking it up twitching and breaking its neck is another. Until you do it, you don't know how it feels.

    Done, and we will. Thanks, Ross. I'm not the most responsive to critisism after 2 hours kip. The point IS very valid, if you don't take it out in one, make sure you take it out in TWO!!

    Haha can just picture it "shit" it's a man eating cat... Oh wait a minute it's a sheep lol. I'm still adjusting to night hunting the mink totally spooked me i heard the noise in bush so prepared to take my bunny then that bloody thing come at me, I just wasn't expecting it suppose anything could be out and about. I need to man up haha Yeah, not too keen on being alone at night, everything looks EVIL through lamps, especially red lamps. It doesn't help that on part of the permission that Bigmac & Vislauk let me join them on, is an old mortuary....I mean, FFS, they knocked down

    The first time I lamped alone without Bigmac, I was in some thick woods, circling round and put the beam on a sheep, 2 big red eyes looking at me I shat my pants.. I was like "what the hell are you doing in the woods?? get back in the field"....I went home pretty sharp after that...

    Yeah sounds good, I doubt I'll last till 4am mind, useless today haha. Would be nice to see little hunter take his first rabbit!
