    No pressure lads, but my local butcher has agreed to buy any rabbits we get so long as they are gutted and cleaned. Should make at least pellet money

    Went up the farm Sat night determined to “do a Mac” and have a bunny waiting for him when he arrived. It was rather blustery and when I got to the farm I almost called Mac to say don’t bother, the wind is shocking. He was about 15 mins away so I thought I’d have a quick look near the kids play park. The rabbits have caused a few burrows here but I have never seen a rabbit out. Sure enough, nowt doing. But I decided to have a scan over the bottom field, red lamp showed nothing, I put the white light on and could see to the very edges of the field and nothing there either, as I lowered the lamp,

    Haha, not had 5 mins today, NOW you admit it was MY pigeon..... Will post a pic of my rabbit and a little note about Vislauk's "tricks" tomorrow. top night lads truely enjoyed it. Hope to get out again soon. Saw 3 more rabbits on the way home just sat in the hedge row. Think we need to go down a bit later...???

    Run like feck for the hedge line, pause just before it to flick the bird, then dive to cover. Just like the little bar stewards do to me.

    Ben don't stress. The beginners (like me) just admit to more than the old hands! You think the guys on here with years and years of experience don't have similar shots? You can't plan for everything.

    Fair question mate. I guess it will be permission specific. In the summer we've been out from 6 to 4am. But it was warm then. These days it's 8pm to around 1am or earlier if it's dead....which it is right now. Thinking of having a look at different times as the rabbits have gone v quiet.

    Sounds a better idea. I was shooting a 25mm bottle top at 35 yrds, stood, unsupported with Visaluk last week. I like the idea of a knock down target for the back garden. Can never have too much practice stood/kneeling. Certainly helps when the grass is wet and i don't want to go prone haha.

    Only springer I have is a shitty SMK SNYXS, couldn't get groups like that if I put the paper next to the barrel haha. Springer is on the shopping list, I had a 97 for a while but traded up. Just don't have the cash nor can I justify it with the 100. One day, when our lass finishes Uni and gets a job haha.

    Stuck working from home, bored to tears, had to have a bit of a plink in the garden. flicked the auto aim on for a couple of mags through the HW100T. sub 5p groups the lot of em, but at 25yrds you'd hope so. I used to get through a tin of pellets every few weeks plinking in the garden or the range, but its crap versus getting out after rabbits or pigeons.... Roll on the weekend.... 5 x 5 shot groups, H&N FTTs at 25 yrds.... Yawn....
