  1. Good lad, they are bob on accurate! I'm out Sat with mine and just found out it looks like i have a new perm too. Loadsa fun. Wonder why he swapped the normal silencer for the carbon one? not like it isn't a cracking silencer already? Looks like the front of the barrel is floating on yours too, if you look at Pink's (like mine) the front stock supports the barrel. Just enjoy it mate! Have new scope and bipod on now, but no decent photo's. All mine have rabbits in haha!
  2. Oh and I get 8-9 mags from a full charge. 14 Shots a mag so 110+ no bother and mine is .177
  3. 400g mate! KT is 3.9kg the T (I have one) is 4.3kg without bipod/scope etc. take the full size more shots and it's a mans gun! Hahaha
  4. read reviews on it first..... Gammo not talked about much on here, but I have no experience so can't comment.
  5. HSE manager was well happy with my RA & MS, had to give him insurance and liability waiver and he's off to the plant manager to rubber stamp! The deputy manager is a mate of 15 years, so have asked him to put a good word in....looking possitive!!
  6. My compay is very hot on RA and MS's, they have there own process, with the HSE having the final say, but they expect the people doing the work will know the process the best and the potential risks. We handle every chemical you can imagine and every processing bit of kit, at one site or other around the world!! Oddly, we don't shoot rabbits as a rule haha
  7. Hey mate, given your budget (£350) you won't reach a HW100 (£700+ new!!)
  8. better look second hand then. A pump is £100-£130 depending on 3 or 4 stage. Cheap scope will be £50 at least... That would leave ou £200 for a PCP....... possible but hard! Go for a springer, put the pump money into a better scope or better rifle. Don't forget you need a gun slip!!!!
  9. true true, shouldn't moan especially as Mac and Visla saw nothing at the weekend. Just longing for the warmer, dryer summer days, where we would see 20-30 rabbits over the course of an evening haha.
  10. haha, poor old jumper getting some stick!! Don't worry Mac, it wasn't worth your drive up! The rabbit was sat 20yrds down the grass on the way to the corner where we zero the scopes, 30 yrds from the car!!! I should have packed up and gone home after that. I looked at the bottom field but it was too wet, didn't bother with the top field and the long walk was more of a long swim!!! Needs to dry out and for the mixy to "do one".....
  11. Nowt wrong wi that jumper, Matt. Camo and warm, job done haha.
  12. Needed to get out of the house so asked Mac & Visla upto the farm, both couldn't make it, adding it was bleak on their last trip. I decided to go up for a hour and see what was about. Got there around 8, hopped out of the car, gear on and walked round the corner to zero the scope and hello bugs! Sat 20 yards away, i quickly rested the rifle on a fence post and took a standing shot. The rabbit flipped and looked like it ran 2-3 steps then lay very still, I started to stalk it in case I needed another shot, but I walked right up to it and it was only a slight twitch left in it. I'd h
  13. I can identify the risks (clearly as I am a crap shot, none to the rabbits), and suggest mitigation steps, they (HSE) will only approve it or ask for better steps to be taken.
  14. Grand! Cheers sir, written out and submitted.... fingers crossed!! How to sweeten a HSE manager???
  15. Right, no piss takes gents!!! I have the chance to get permission to shoot at my real place of work, but they want a full on risk assessment and method statement. I can probably pull one together as I have done these for my job anyhow, but wondered if any of the pros on here already have one they have used? Rather than reinventing the wheel. The joy of an overly sensitive multi national company....mind, place is lifting so it will be worth it..... Just the HSE manager to placate.... no easy task!
  16. better collection of guns than your Grandad fella! Looks great!
  17. worth getting out of bed for that mate!
  18. I have the HW100T (Full size thumbhole) in 0.177 and LOVE it. I have fired a few others and liked them, but not enough to switch. I'm a one gun man, so can only say how good this rifle is. You won't regret it. I have an almost flat trajectory with a 30 yrd zero, from 20 to 45 yrds. At 45-50 yrd you are only talking about 1/2 to 1 mil dot drop. Great if you are crap at judging distances.
  19. Yup! The flash gits got it on order!!
  20. Yup! The flash gits got it on order!!
  21. sounds like a good night, did Mac enjoy "the hill" or were my mates not out playing? Landed up on Scotland, man if I had my gun with me!! We are staying on a farm FULL OF BUNNIES!! I brought my lamp and when I took the dog out, gave it a quick flash,....dagnamit!!!! See you both in the new year? How many loops did you manage Mac???
